I agree with your entire post. Even though schooling is not designed the same way in my country it still isn't designed for P's. You are rewarded for scrupulousness and studying on a daily basis. Although the number of droputs is not bigger for P's or J's in my area, but there is interesting thing about it. P dropouts are the ones who didn't care for school, usually hoping for art/music etc future or just drinking too much, while J's dropouts are those who didn't care for school, because they already work for some funny money somewhere and already start making families one way or another.

ESTP's are realistic but i'd say just to some degree. Or in other words : our idea of realism, based on common sense and combination of Se-Ti is not the same realism as J's which is based more on social proof and overall knowagle and opinions of society.
For example ESTJ wouldn't jump into business that has never been done before and he can't be sure of the outcome. Meanwhile ENTP wouldn't hesitate and just jump into it no matter what, believing he can be milionaire in a month. ESTP will likely go into it if it seems reasonable and profitable for him - doesn't need proof of others, but also doesn't blindly believe in magic of dreams as N's do.
But for this ESTJ ESTP is still unrealistic.

Excellent! That was some extraordinary insight. I totally agree. It is crazy how systems nowadays are in place to set independent thinkers "straight" to follow what "works" along with applauding and rewarding consistent/mediocre work yet spurning the ways of someone who chooses to follow their own way of doing things. I swear that our institutions have ruined the lives and dreams of MANY would-be entrepreneurs.

About your bets in the stock market, kudos to you. It takes a lot to go against the grain and follow your own thinking and analysis of the situation if you know what's currently accepted doesn't make sense. I think today's team has become warped. It has evolved from a group of individuals working together to a group of people following a lead. The latter is what you don't want to a part of. Se+Ti seems like a cool superpower to have which I'm sure gets you ESTP real far. IN your case of stocks, since Ni is the least developed function, I'm assuming you prefer not to do any long-term investing?

Anyway, I do watch Shark Tank and I see what you're saying. From my observations, the inventors really do have great ideas but the sensors always point out a realistic critique the situation and execution that the inventor usually gets blind-sided by. The show indeed teaches people that you can have a great idea but if you're not good-to-go in the logistics department, the project is bound to fail.

I'll be sure to send any ENTP schemers your way.
