We have had maybe 2 here that I know of. One might be (Korvyna is currently trying on other types) and the other definitely was not an ESTP.

I know a female ESTP very well in real life. Ask whatever you like.

Ok, I've taken the test and I came out ESTP, once I was ESFP (just slightly an F) however I was going through turmoil in my marriage.
My best friend is an ESTP woman (no doubt about it). We think very much alike, not very emotional like most women, talkers, fun and neither of us can handle clingy people or too much commitment. Both married to ESFJ men who know we have an understanding for each other we don't share with other women.
However, when it comes to humor I definitely outwit her. When it comes to decimating someone, she wins. We both love to banter.
Here's the difference....our facial expressions. Although we both love feminine clothing, high heels, designer bags, make-up, hair, etc....her resting face is more unapproachable and calm, she's very attractive but looks like she can kick someone's ass unless she is smiling. My resting face is more friendly and my eyes move around a room more often.
Have some people who think I'm ESFP some who know me closer and say ESTP. I figure another woman may help being it always used in a masculine realm when described or unfortunately describes the women in prison. There's got to be other grounded ESTP women, my friend is an awesome ESTP. She had a great upbringing.
    Does this describe your friend?

I'm an ESTP chick. I only look like I can kick someone's ass if I'm a bit stressed or if someone says the wrong thing (and I probably can...) I know what you mean about clingers. A couple of my friends are a bit clingy, and I keep them at least at arm's length and keep moving so they just can't grab hold. I can only handle the clingers in small doses, but let them be my friends.

Is this type predominantly male or something? I have to admit that I much prefer hanging out with the guys to the girls. My core group of friends is half guys and half girls. When my husband and I go to one of his work dos I always end up at (sometimes on!) the bar with the boys. I hate chick flicks and Cosmo, but I'm still pretty dang feminine...absolutely not a hint of prison-chickness here.

To answer your question, yes ESTP is predominantly male. Part of the reason you and I like hanging out with men more than women. I feel the same way. Always had a guy best friend until I got married. Still I enjoy the company of fun ESTP men, though I probably would have never married one. I need someone to keep me grounded. I am also very feminine in dress and style, however I don't speak all that feminine and my thoughts and humor are probably much more like a dude. I love MMA. I am very independent and can get along on my own, most women do not feel that way.
As far as clingers, yep...me and my ESTP friends can not see each other for a year and we'll catch up and it's never awkward. Just pick up where we left off. No pressure to make phone calls.

my gang when i was in highschool are males. it's easy to be with guys than with girls who say bad things when you had a new hairdo or dress. girls have many issues and so critical. i love dressing up femininely and goes to parlor. have a happy married life with grown up children. but i am more at peace when i am with guy friends.

Nice. Its weird but I like it when I hang out with girls most often, because they are soo damn intriguing to me. They're an enjoyment for me.
I know what I want and I love women!
But I also hate Chick Flicks and I'm still dang masculine.

ESTP Female here. I tend to look unapproachable unless I want to look other wise. I am a tomboy, I was not raised in a nice home so I figured the fact that I've had to be aggressive for a good chunk of my life kind of added to my features. People often tell me after I allow myself to be approachable that I looked like I might kick their asses if they were rude, but that I'm actually very cool and alot of fun.. it might have been the case to be honest.

I don't like people who say a whole lot of nothing, and attempt to act cool by being rude. I hate it when we are all hanging out having a great time then some idiot says something to offend one of my friends but then acts like it was a joke so they can't get insulted cause "its not cool." I end up asking (telling) those people to leave, after making them look like the idiots they are.

mind you, my mentor (my older sisters husband) was an INTx. My older sister who also raised me is and ENFP. Together they influenced me since my actual home environment was lame, so I'd expect I'm not totally like most ESTPs.

Anyway I'm not sure this helps, I do ramble a whole lot lol.
