    ESTP - The Doers

    @turmauge

It's funny how Ti makes one less bothered, to the point of not caring and not trying. I find it hard to balance it, because it figures out that it would be best to play computer games and not bother with thinking about girls... This is probably why an ESTP would suppress it, because their Se knows instinctively that sex is the best thing in life.

Because I've been exposed to so much Ni now, I've gone and set my Ti on what Ni told me and it has now come up with "the answer to life, the universe and everything" - for real! It's quite simple and probably the problem people have in trying to figure it out is that they can't accept it, rather than that it's really a mystery.

The answer is that everything we identify with - thoughts, feelings, sensations, intuitions, ego, ambitions, drives, you name it - are all EFFECTS of material. So it can be logically said that material itself is MORE "divine" than anything else we identify with. This is very hard for most people to accept, but I have come to accept it now.

Where it would be used in getting a girlfriend, I don't know. Any dumb animal can get a mate - so I have always assumed there must be something really simple and easy about it that doesn't require thinking about, which is why I never even bothered about it until recently. It turns out I may have also been duped by all this stuff about "how to get a girl" and having to understand it all (at least I didn't pay for any of this stuff). It'll probably happen to me if I just put myself out there and try to interact :)

I know a woman who's a very unique individual, quite imbalanced, and in trying to type her over time I've thought she was every kind of ExxJ. But I just realized this is probably it: ESTP in an extroverted Se-Fe loop, with inferior Ni. A few main points:

    - She's very high energy. I don't know where she gets it. She gets a lot done.
    - She's very fast-paced.
    - She's flexible. She's always up for whatever the day brings.
    - She loves to have contact with a lot of people every day. She's great at making new social connections and maintaining old ones.
    - She doesn't differentiate much among people. She'll tell the same story in the same way to every person she sees in a day.
    - She puts people immediately at ease with her natural self-confidence.
    - She dominates the conversation. ;)
    - She's great in a crisis. She's especially good at meeting the practical needs of people in a personal crisis: their loved one just died, their child was just in a car accident, the tough stuff; and encouraging them.
    - At one time she and I got along fabulously.

    Okay, now the negative stuff:

    - It doesn't occur to her that she could ever be wrong.
    - She tries to use her social connections to boost her status in her own eyes and in others'. Yes, she's a name-dropper. (Poor use of exaggerated Fe, I think?)
    - The worst: she imagines/makes things up to explain things she doesn't understand when things don't go her way. She makes enormous leaps to bizarre conclusions about people and situations that have no existence in reality, and once she does she's convinced that it's true, and it's impossible to tell her otherwise. (Very badly used inferior Ni acting on Fe, I think?)
    - Being a woman of action, she takes these matters into her own hands. You can't even imagine the trouble she's caused. :|

I've often thought that if she would just slow down (introvert) for a moment and think rationally (Ti), she could reason her way through her false conclusions (Ni) about people (Fe). But she doesn't. Can't change her. Can't live with her. Do feel sorry for her. Anyway, it's interesting to me the way this type and this loop make sense of it all.

I think a lot of songs by "The Cramps" are like the ESTP's Se-Fe loop, for example:-

And it's distinguishable from the ENFJ's Fe-Se loop which is more like this:-
