Very true. I don't like controlling people. But I do appreciate someone who has more organizational skills than I have (which doesn't take much). If I am gently kept on track by an ENTJ, who is seeing the big picture that I am missing, I am very happy. I've had ENTJ friends who've done that for me.

My ISTJ mother is good for that too. She could probably go toe to toe with a Te dom easy in organizing skills! :)

Two of my long term friends are ENTJ and ESFP. They got together at one stage and lasted two minutes (something about head-butting and insulting, figuratively speaking). I love them both dearly and they/we have been solid loyal friends for 18 years or more. He (ENTJ) has really upfront views on certain things whereas she (ESFP) will keep hers more to herself for the sake of peace and fun times. If she was to breach what she thinks is his idea of what is she will say to me....errrr don't tell ENTJ about this, I just don't want to have to deal with it right now as I'm still justifying it to myself....I say sure...it's really none of his business you know..and it is your life. It's funny how we are always in this perpetual cushion between them on ideas....as soon as we are all together it really doesn't even matter. As none of really care what the other does just as long as we know they are alright. It stands to reason why we all get each other so well. We share all the same functions --just in different order.

You might want to look at the Bill and Hillary Clinton relationship. Both help to fill up that weakness in their personality. Bill would never have been President if not for Hillary's discipline and diligence, and Hillary would not have been recognized if not for Bill success and fame. Without Bill, Hillary would have been just another Jacqueline Onassis.

Both of them complement each other, as an ESFP-ENTJ relationship would, though I suppose it would be quite tough to sustain.
