Unreflective and bad at understanding theories?

That describes me, does it describe you or ESFPs you know? It took me over a year to find out my personality type by applying the theories myself. I could've never believed that I'm an artisan, I insisted on being a rational. My extraverted sensing has "scanned" every MBTI-related page that Google could find multiple times! For the first time i reflected on how I was as a child last saturday, I'm 21 years old and it was tough for me (uncomfortable).

They have a fame of. The ESFPs I know, or the suspected ESFPs I know...maybe it's not like they don't understand, and too like they don't care. But I don't think they need to understand theories when they are fun.

You can understand any theory as long you find a way to relate the information with your primary learning style & your energy level

Exactly Unfortunately, my energy is incredibly low and I'm a doer so theory takes a while sometimes but I finally found some texts that have great explanation of theories that everyone should be able to understand since it helped me a lot

The best ESFP friend I ever had definitely understood theoretical things. He just didn't need them.

He was very wise, though. He knew more about my friends than I did, and understood them deeply, without having to use any symbolic speech or abstract ideas to explain them to me.

He wasn't the only ESFP in my life who has been like that.

I wonder if I'm the only one or one of the few who likes to use my own metaphors or other types of imagery to explain my thoughts to other people. Sometimes it's like I feel I have to for people to understand me. I feel like me learning theories is like that I suppose. Speak my language and I can do it. If I'm interested

I'm trying to change to have more fun in my life,
but it is really difficult cause I'm always analyzing everything.

You are Se Fi Te Ni

    I'm Ni Te Fi Se

It's like we are yin and yang.

I find I get along quite well with NTs plus having spent most of my life in stress/shadow mode I can very much appreciate the INTJ point of view for various things, so yin and yang is a good way to put it I think. You can't have one without the other.

Yes the stress shadow mode know what you mean.
I find that it only gives me the negative aspects of Se Fi.

How would a person go about improving their Se and Fi?

What are some areas that you would recommend to focus on to get better?

I figured you are the experts in those areas!

I should probably look up the experts of Ti, Ne, Fe and Si too!
    Neon Knight thanked this post.
