Probably the penis thing. It's a dead giveaway.
Seriously though, I work with at least one male ESFJ, possibly two (the other guy might be ESTJ), and one female ESFJ, I have another female friend who is an ESFJ. They're pretty comparable... I get along with one of the men and one of the women very well, and the other two OK but not as well. We'd need a massive sample to compare fairly.
I would have posted an anatomy related difference but Stephen posted first.'d
I'm really unsure how to answer without putting it into some kind of context. Do you have a scenario or situation type question?

I would say generally Feeler guys would overstress their manliness whenever possible (not at the wrong time though). I'm not sure about this, but they MIGHT feel the need to prove their maniless? (somebody critique this theory)
However, I never met a person who I know enough to figure he's an ESFJ. I'm basing these guesses out of my INFP friends and cousin.
I'm sorry, I don't have a scenario or situation because I don't *think* I've ever met an ESFJ guy before. I feel like I'm really good at figuring out other's personality types and I'm very perceptive. I guess I would like to know how to spot an ESFJ guy or where to meet them. Do you think ESFJ guys and girls would get along as friends or otherwise?
For instance, I know as an ESFJ girl and I am very feminine and love being that way, I like to dress nice and wear makeup, etc. I'm very concerned about taking care of others and serving, keeping a tidy house and doing the things I "should" do as a woman (does that sound old fashioned? Lol), I'm very outgoing and love talking to people and I seek to understand others so I can make them happy (which makes me happy). I don't think it would be fair to assume that an ESFJ guy is very masculine... or the flip side of how I just described myself. Am I making any sense? Lol
I hear ya, but whether 2 people get along depends on the 2 individuals in question. MBTI seems to be more of a tool for self-exploration and reflection rather than a catch-all. It's probably better than a wild guess, when used to determine if people are compatible. Wearing makeup or dressing a certain way is more ethnocentric rather than based on a MB type. Wanting to please people and being outgoing is something that's common to ESFJ's.
Like Stephen stated above, I think you would need a really large sampling to draw any conclusions.
Age might be a factor in the test. I've wondered if people at different points in their life are stronger/closer to their Meyers-Briggs type, and if it is different between the sexes based on age.
I consider myself to be a gentleman. I keep a tidy house and generally respect people around me. I don't host parties, but when I have guests I treat them to the best food/drink/atmosphere that I can offer.
Sorry, I'm kinda rambling as I write this... multi-tasking at work and posting here for relaxation
