    Types in Your Family

It would be interesting to see what diversity (or similarities) of types there are in everyone's families. Anyone can post.

My family: No one is the same type....

    Mom: ESFP
    Dad: ISFJ
    Sister: INFJ
    Brother: INTP
    Brother: ENFJ
    Me: ESFJ

    Mom: ESFJ
    Dad: ISTJ
    Sister: INFJ probably. Maybe ISFJ.
    Me: ESFJ

My mom and I don't always agree, but we totally know where each other are coming from almost all the time. She's more of a 2w1 dominant ESFJ though. My dad has to deal with a lot of Fe.

    Me: ESFJ
    Mom: ESTJ
    Dad: ISTP
    Older sister: ISFJ/ESFJ, not sure

My sister actually annoys the piss out of me lol. We're actually very different despite sharing similar functions. My mom and I are probably the most similar, and we get along well enough. Mother/daughter conflicts are a norm, regardless of type. My dad and I don't have much of a relationship. He's quiet and keeps mostly to himself.

I think four of us in my family have Fe as either the dominant or auxiliary function. My INTP little brother is surrounded by all F's. Poor guy.

I know exactly what you mean. Some ESFJs really get on my nerves (my current roommate), and while I can see how we process things, observe, and think on the same wavelength, I feel miles apart from her. My dad is an ISFJ, very close in functions, and I always understand where he's coming from or how he's thinking, but he and I get along the least in my family. I don't think SJs clash well.

    Mom: INTP
Dad: ISFP [It was a bad marriage... he died last year]
    Brother #1: ENTJ
    Brother #2: ISTJ
Brother #3: ENFJ [My twin whom I love dearly. =)]
    Brother #4: ENTP
    Sister #1: INFJ
Sister #2: ISFP [Love her so much. <3]
Sister #3: Either ESFP or ESTP... not sure which. =)]

    Mom: ESFJ
    Dad: INTJ
    I'm an only child!

There is always a lot of clashing going on. My mom clashes with both of us on a day-to-day basis (result of aggressive Fe) whereas when my dad and I butt heads, it's usually about major things and the fights are drawn out for much longer. The parents bicker about everything and I think some of it is due to the classic N vs. S divide while some is due to my dad's impatience with Fe and my mom's overabundance of it. I think a ESFJ/INTJ couple is automatically in for some rough times.

    Twin INTJ
    Mother ENFJ
    Father ESTJ (dead)

I think I've had my ups and downs with everyone, but feel really blessed that my family always feels/felt like one where we all loved each other, immensely, equally. No one had any special connection that anyone else didn't have.

    Mom ESFJ
    Dad INTJ
    Brother ENTJ
    Me INFJ

I love my mom dearly but the typology isnt easy. Her strong emotions don't always make sense to me and where she craves a lot of attention, she's very good at missing what the other person actually needs.

Dad... Awesome to argue with. Terrible to really disagree with. We are good at misunderstanding eachother but finction great when we both identify a mutual topoc of interest.

Brother: great guy but very self centered. We get along but dont share the same value system and that is difficult to overcome. Admire his business acumen and his determination.

    Yeah... Odd family composition.
