This question is still driving me nuts. I can't think of anyone that I identify with. Is that even possible?
I know I picked someone earlier, but it doesn't feel right.
how would you know if you identify with some fictional character?

You'd probably be incredibly amused while watching the character because you seem to understand everything they're doing and have probably done the same yourself. Like I said, I don't think I've ever fully related to a character. I've only seen bits and pieces I relate to, like some extreme SJ characters and xSFx xcharacters. Nothing seems to fit though...
Oh yes, and they are fictional characters: unrealistic, lacking depth, and prone to dramatic and also unrealistic personality fluctuations as a result of character/plot manipulation. Booo
OK, I'll use that and give it some thought this long weekend :)You'd probably be incredibly amused while watching the character because you seem to understand everything they're doing and have probably done the same yourself. Like I said, I don't think I've ever fully related to a character.
Thanks Naked Lunch !!

The only fictional character I ever felt like I identified with was She-ra. LOL!! Then again, I was like 8 years old at the time. hehehe

Hmn, I'm not quite sure. I tend to watch television shows with strong female characters. I love Penelope Garcia from Criminal Minds mostly because before she uses facts and logic she follows her heart. And she usually uses her heart before her brain. If not her then it would be Anna Walker from Covert Affairs. I was going to say Sookie Stackhouse but then...eh...no. If not those three it could be Carrie from Homeland, but then again not quite.
Exactly. She can be cruel and manipulative at times, but she is fiercely loyal to the ones she loves. I've seen her typed as both ESTJ and ESFJ. I think she oscillates between T and F, but in the end, I think most of her love decisions are F. Also, there's that whole SJ perfectionist thing that I think you see in Hermione too. I loved Hermione when I was a kid reading the books, because I was definitely the same kind of know-it-all growing up.
