Just look in a basement somewhere. You'll probably find one.

I found my ENTP when I moved to Virginia to start a film making internship that operated out of the producer's home office. I was on my laptop and noticed the ENTP was watching me. Finally he said, "You know, there's a shortcut for copy/paste."

    Heheheeee..

Also, he was really really really really quiet. He was like a ghost. He'd been kind of alienated most of his life, so yeah. :/ But then he started coming out of his shell, and boy does he talk!

This thread was a lot hotter before I realized it was made by a guy.

Most of the time when I'm in a situation where there is a high number of attractive women, it is at a bar, coffee shop or library. I've also found facebook to be a good tool. I'm not that great at determining whether a girl is E or I and P or J, but I can almost immediately tell if she's an NF. I've developed a sixth sense of sorts for just knowing when I come across an NF.

I read that as this thread got a lot hotter when I realised it was made by a guy.

    Therefore, I agree!

Years? Is this common? I probably have a crush on an INFJ too, but also waiting for him to take the initiative.

    Why?
    1. I'm really outgoing but completely socially awkward romantically
    2. I overanalyze feelings to make sure I actually have them... =p
    3. I'm happy being single? Err...

gotta be bold with infj guys. they want you to come to them. But they still wanna take action. so listen and remember the things they say, and bring them up later, like hey are you going to see that movie you were talking about? Give them specific ideas on what they can do. if they're interested, they'll bite. Give them thigns that say, "I remembered that you said this". Details, they love that kind of stuff. But be a little bit coy/gamey at the same time...like, leave a trail of bread crumbs, obvious enough though

I'm usually at work. Seriously 15 - 18 hours a day. Sooo I guess the best place to find me is online. Meeting people, or at least the right people is really tough. Thanks(?) to technology I'm usually online. I HATE dating sites, but have used them. I wonder if there are key words that ENTPs use more than others? I know that if I have a profile up, it's usually so sarcastic that people message me who are totally wrong just to be my friend. I'm hilarious.

If we're at a bar or club, we will either be talking to just one person and engrossed in deep(ish) conversation, or scowling around the room in resentment for having been dragged there. We're usually not fond of loud settings, and we have low patience for idiots which includes the drunk kind.
Most of us prefer smaller, and more quiet settings. Someone's back yard bbq is much more favorable than a pub. Look for the person trying to play MacGyver with some fireworks and a pizza in the kitchen; that's your ENTP. That person is probably telling a story while they try to rig something. We like to multitask, you know.

Conventions and festivals are more favored settings if we want to be crammed into small places with hundreds of other people. Demonstrations, art, discussions, etc. about a topic of interest makes for a good starting point. I personally hit up every free art or culture festival that I can find, once spring sets in.

Used book stores are another good spot to look for us. We like bargains and we like expanding our minds.

    Where you won't find us?
Alone at a club. We always make sure to bring at least one person for good conversation/backup, even if we're on a mission to try to hit on someone.
The mall. A few threads about ENTPs and shopping indicate that a majority of us hate shopping. We'd much prefer amazon.com to a crowded mall.
All this above, and don't put me beside someone chatting incessantly during a movie, especially if said chatty person is talking about something completely unrelated to the film. Don't cram me onto a bus or into any place with a billion people, who could even happen to steal your seat when you leave it for a bit. Don't put me beside the guy or girl who doesn't believe in commercially available hygiene products, and thinks au natural is something everyone appreciates. And don't make me leave a voicemail, or I will hang up, and never call back.

Yeah, this is all pretty true, IMO. They're like something between passive assertive aggressive method actors. They're big on subtext. I mean, if you are an INTP and really into code, they will LOVE you. And they love games like, how can I imitate my crush, but they do it to you, you don't do it to them because that's just awkward, you'll end up doing it back and forth to each other and the whole thing just gets pretty dang confusing.
