When I was younger, I would never be straight forward. I was so afraid of having to deal with a girl freak out, that if I stopped being interested in her, I'd just stop talking. She'd eventually get the hint. I have matured a bit since then XD

Now I'm much less prone to waste time, and if I don't see ANY future anymore, I'll say so.

As far as expressing feelings, I'll send out some feelers from me, tell my friends to ask her about me, etc. Rarely am I really upfront, but if confronted, I turn it awesome.

    Yup and re-yup.

You know how there are threads around the place that decipher what a word or phrase really means for a particular MBTI or Enneagram, as in when they say yes they mean I'm agreeing with you so you go away etc? well allow me to assist...

    In ENTP speak:

    I don't like you = I don't like you, really
I like you = I like you, really
I love you = Either I love you, really, or I love that you love me... which can kinda be the same thing for some
    I'm over you = It's finished, really

    We don't tend to mince our words when we do disclose. We can be less blunt if we are;
    A) manipulating situations to suit our purpose
    B) believe it is in our best interests to be otherwise

Unless you can see reason for us to be lying to you for our own self interest I'd say take what we say to mean it as it's said.

Or, would you be hiding your true feelings?
If you like a girl, would you always try to get connected to her regularly (cross-continental communication)....or you might choose to have a long break in communication (while still being attracted to her)...any clues guys?

    Thanks a lot, folks!
You guys ARE Princes Charming, I must add!!! :)

Depends. If I want someone and either of us is unavailable, they go on "simmer" - I talk to them friendly like, but keep them distanced as acquaintances to avoid the "friend ladder" (ladder theory haha).

Basically I'll only hide my true feelings if it improves my chances of me getting what I want in the end. We frequently stop talking to people and restart later like nothing happened, and it's not an intentional ignoring that's happening.

    Totally!. Did it yesterday....
She was acting weird today...I yelled at her and took a break.
I wonder how she feels...when I start ignoring her.. like she is non-existent!
I should be sad but I'm angry. idk. screw her, she can't keep hurting me all the time with her BS

I'll try to connect with her regularly, if she start giving me her BS, I'll stop.
Why the hell should I go after someone who's not worthy at all?
then I'll take a looooooooooong break.
If I still remember her I'll say HI and start talking again...as very distance friends. (with a hidden agenda in mind, of course)

    Hi William!

I'm trying to click on the "thank" button which is not operating(?!).
Thanks to you very much for your reply. That was surely helpful! :)
English is my second language ...I think I'm not sure what you meant by "simmer"...did you mean "taking it easy"?
Thanks once again! Have a nice day! :)

@serenityy You might need to log in again. I'm not sure why the button wouldn't work... :/

You're welcome! Simmer is cook slowly. Like if you make soup or boil something at low heat for a long time. People also might say "put on the back burner" :)
