    ENTP and INFJ?

Okay, so Daylight Sun mentioned that she couldn't see ENTP and INFJ as natural partners in another thread.

Daylight, if you read this one, why do you think there would be too much confusion?

I'm reading mixed pros and cons. Some INFJs swear by the ENTP, other sources say the ENTP will chase the INFJ away.

The only thing I understand is that like the ENFP, the ENTP speaks intuitive language like the INFJ. So there isn't as much a communication barrier as with the other types. Thoughts? Facts? Resources?

I don't see why they aren't natural partners. Their personalities compliment each other. I always thought that NT's and NF's go great together.

It's not just that they're both intuitive, but the two types share judging functions so they can readily understand each other's thought processes and means of expression. I can also see how an ENTP could potentially scare off an INFJ, but I don't think that would be much of an issue unless one or both parties were fairly immature or maladapted somehow.

INFJs & ENTPs are good together. INFJs care to-much, ENTP don't care enough. So the INFJ can teach the ENTP how to care more, and the ENTP acts as the hero who would protect the INFJ from people that would take advantage of his/her emotions.

Not only that but the ENTP would be full of surprises and populate the INFJ's inner world with any number of new or previously unconsidered possibilities.

of course, finding an ENTP who will actually protect you from the people that want to take advantage, rather than just acting like they would, is another problem altogether...

    I like Trope's suggestion though

True there's not much if any barrier...like peas in a pod...effortless understanding..maybe if one just didn't know what a certain word meant but other than that it's cool! Chasing away INFJ? Hmm...ENTPs just need to be themselves, I mean be their E, and this won't happen! Under stress we can sometimes turn inward...so as long as things stay fun, it works, in theory..I have an NF friend and he suggests for ENTP/INFJ dating that the NT "Not forget to live their life"

    Makes sense to me!
