    Instant NF switch

Anyone else find that when listening to emotional music or watching an emotional scene you can imagine feeling life through an NF's heart?

Even though were we rationalize by default, we can still reach into our chests and feel our beating hearts through art.

Actually, yes. I'm still not 100% with my F/T (I seem to be more T) but music can evoke incredible emotional responses within me. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that music is like crack to me; it gets me high.

it works well when you're about to engage in a certain event such as competitive sport.

Agreed. The right piece of music can completely change my mental state within seconds. Which is a bit worrying if you think about it.

Music definitely brings out my emotional side. Certain songs and some musicals really move me, make my Fe come out strongly.
Also, artists like Sigur Ros and Boards of Canada put me in a contemplative state where the line between Ti and Fi becomes blurred.

F is not overflowing with emotion, F is just being less cold logical and thinking about other feelings more, when making decisions.

the only thing that invokes emotion in me is some music and the scene in which Mustafa dies in Lion King. I cry like a baby everytime I see him fall into the water buffalo herd.

One time when I was watching a movie at the theatre with a group of friends ( it was a comedy, the characters were hillarious!) and it was during a touching part where the main character dumps his fathers ashes over a cliff. Anyways, I was cracking up and some of my F friends were on the verge of tears! They were all looking at me like I was crazy and one of them said " How can you be laughing?" and I was like "Its cause its these guys!"
