I swear to god, when I was growing up people used to bully me just so they could see my reaction! I always got the short end of the stick, and people loved to give it to me, because then they could elicit my warped up exaggerated panic face with the high pitched "WHAT THE...?!?!!!", and I would go on a comical rant and move my hands about in an exaggerated fashion calling out the insanity of the situation.
I remember when I said something to accidentally upset every boy in my class. They were mad at me, so I naturally got down on my knees, clasped my hands, and begged for forgiveness. It was very cliche and exaggerated, and just for the fun of it all the boys decided to decline. It took me the longest time to figure out that they weren't sadistic, but that they thought it was funny.
People like to misunderstand the things I say too. We were having a mexican themed party, and I suggested we wear sombreros. Then some kid told me I was racist because, "not ALL mexicans wear sombreros".
