Instead of sharing the obvious things that turn you off, why don't we share stories of the worst things your date has done to scare you off permanently? I want to see just how much we have in common in terms of ditching people that make you want to scream, "NEXT!"

So here's mine:

My guy friends dragged along a friend of theirs who apparently was interested in me to my birthday party. I had met him only a few times. He had bought me this expensive necklace that already made me feel a bit awkward. To top things off, the clasp was broken. I told him it was okay, I'd just put it on another chain.

But nay. He sulked in a corner of the party for two hours straight. I talked to him briefly as the hostess of the party, but then I moved on to entertaining the other guests. Then he proceeded to look through my text messages when I left my cell phone unattended. When I took it away from him, he complained that I was talking too much. (WTF?)

Needless to say, I pretty much ignored him after that. He sent me text after text. Called me even though I didn't reply. Finally, he wrote me a poem (WTF????) and when I didn't respond, he started lashing out on my guy friends. They stopped hanging out with him, too.

My Feeler girlfriends thought he was pretty sweet, even though he had looked through my text messages. They said his clinginess could be excused because he liked me so much. He didn't even know me all that well, at least according to me. And besides, clinginess can never be excused.

My brother's best friend used to come over all the time when I was twelve (he was my age) and try to talk to me. He once bought a bunch of plastic toys from a quarter machine at a buffet and tried to use them as a bribe to get me to go out with him. Another time, I was in the shower when he started kicking and hammering on the door of the bathroom, trying to get in, and screaming "WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME?!" at the top of his lungs. I grabbed my dagger from my room, which was the next room over, and rushed out of the bathroom in just a towel. He looked very, um, pleased to see me in just a towel, until I slammed him against the wall by his shoulders, held a foot-long dagger to his neck, and told him that if he ever bothered me in the shower again I would cut off his genitals and shove them down his throat. He stopped coming over after that.

I took a girl out on a relatively normal date, we had a blast, and we kissed at the end of the night. Not a big deal. After I got home, I get a text from her that said "I think I love you." I texted back "You're obviously a psycho. Please never talk to me again."

Not so much a taboo one but pretty funny. I was making out with a girl pretty hot and heavy. Her mom walks in unannounced, takes a look at us, shakes her head, sighs and says "I think this might be the cutest boy you've ever brought home."

I looked her up and down for a minute and said "Want to join?"

She kicked me out lol. I had to go back for my pants.

I also have a lot of stories about my mom catching me, girls losing bras in my room, girls hiding under the bed and in the closet....one girl got a bruise and a REALLY bad carpet burn from our action. They aren't taboo but all pretty funny to look back on.

2 of the previously mentioned ones I cannot tolerate:

1. Clinginess (especially when I'm in a family setting or something. no. don't do that.)

2. Saying that you are in love after a short amount of time (like 1 1/2 weeks)
