Nope he is an ENTJ for sure coz if he was an ENTP,chances are less he would have made so much money and continued successfully. ENTPs lack focus on something for a long time,though not everyone is like that. Also his careers would have had more ups and down than Steve Jobs (ENTP) as ENTJs are better at handling social interactions than ENTPs. They (ENTJ) seldom step on other people's toes unless absolutely required or if it fulfills some motive. ENTPs tend to annoy others just by being themselves :'(

Apart from observing his characteristics and seeing him mentioned as ENTP in a couple of places (which doesn't of course mean they are right necessarily, but probably those people did their research too before stating such stuff), in my personal experience I have seen ENTJs not stepping on toes of those who they need or will need in future unlike ENTPs who act more on impulse than them (and regret sometimes later). I hope you will not challenge my own characteristics (ENTP) as crackpot. ;)

Of course if ENTJs are challenged they might eliminate/destroy their enemies, but they are more careful with social customs and manipulating people than any ENTP. Coz following an established protocol will raise minimum conflict in their interactions with others and most importantly it gets job done by others easily and systematically. But that doesn't mean he will not point out flaws in a system, I'm just stating tendencies and not absolutes.

In most of the times, an ENTP simply doesn't care, which is why they get thrown out or ill treated easily(like Steve Jobs was treated by his CEO).
