We are talking the depth of mind, the core and daring to show who you are. Most often I put on my nice-mask. People like me, and invite me to parties and stuff. But few even suspect the thoughts, the passions and the fears that lurk behind my smile.
Honestly though, isn't everyone like that? We all of us show a certain face only to certain people, it is rare for anyone to get the full picture. Your life partner is the one who will see the most, I guess, and how much of a problem it is for them if you are not completely open depends on their needs as much as your behaviour.

On occassion, they might bite their lip and go along in order to avoid a quarrel, but they allow their autonomy to abridged only under duress, and with growing annoyance."

    Marriage Two ended because:

"The Rationals' intention to instill their own fierce sense of autonomy in their loved ones is a common basis of NT Pygmalion Projects, and as in all Pygmalion Projects it is meant benevolently, to help the mate become what the NT believes is a better person. Unfortunately, such a shift for yourself, an enforced way of relating to loved ones strikes many less self-reliant mates as cold and uncaring, when in truth it is the Conceptualists way of showing just how much they do care. "

    So, yes . . . . spot on.
Is it bad that I find the prospect of having multiple marriages over my life to be kind of cool?

Nah. Shortsighted. You did say you wanted to be rich, right?

So I just have to make sure they all sign the prenuptial agreement before.

I guess. We don't really have those here. My guess is that divorce still costs you a lot, and not just financially, in the US.

Me, I'd like to make marriage binding for 10 years only. At that stage you should be able to walk away, no fault, no recriminations. Money for childcare to be invested during the 10 years to allow for separate homes after.....

Really I don't think that humankind was designed for monogamous relationships lasting 60 years. Back when we formed societies we just didn't live that long.

Nope, not everyone. Some of us are bull-headedly the same person everywhere, whether people like it or not. Same face always, not hiding, though the amount of information relevant enough to communicate in each individual conversation is different to be sure.

Also, like the NT article. Very cool.

My experience of INTJs is that you don't think very much is relevant to communicate! And that is really what I was saying.

It's conceived of differently though. I'm always the same person, the same face - other people don't have to be aware of it for it to be true. Very different mentality, way of defining it. And from the ENTPs I know, they are more likely to act differently in different company and feel it as changing face, have that flexibility. Whereas, the INTJs have a bit of a "the whole is contained in each part" mentality. Y'know?

Still yeah, most people don't know who we are. But for us, it's not because we change. It's because they don't pay attention.

You, sir, are a terrible human being that no one will ever love. >:o Shame on you. *waves finger disapprovingly.*

But why multiple /marriages/ rather than, say, a series of interesting girlfriends?

So, in all I gather you find these descriptions BETTER than others? Or more informative/fitting?
