By the way , i also have a big list, how to piss of an INFJ. And its actually more easier to piss off an INFJ than an ENTP.

there is an alike thread in the INFJ forum that you can bump with your list - i would be interested in reading it over

usually people aren't interested in pissing us off on purpose ... if they ask what makes us angry it is usually done with aim to not spook off the INFJs in their lives - it goes the other way around for us - people keep coming to us and we keep giving each other advice on how to gently escape them

Sure, i am compiling my list.
Yeah, people wont purposefully piss of INFJ may be because they wont respond back.

But on the other hand, i guess, people enjoy a lot pissing off ENTP's .I enjoyed a lot purposefully pissing off some ENTP's on this forum. And the real fun is when you tell them that you successfully pissed them off.

ask us to practice or rehearse something over and over
ignore any strong attempts we make to better ourselves significantly (and tell us we're still being lazy)
being passive-aggressive
ignore every single suggestion we make, (and go by the usual routine)

From the limited sample of ENTPs in my life, here are the methods that I have observed to work:

Make ENTP follow a schedule. Force ENTP come to work every day at exactly 8:00 am sharp. Berate ENTP if he or she is even just 5 minute late. Give a lot of responsibilities to ENTP especially the kind where he has to adhere to a bunch of policies and deadlines. Once again berate ENTP that he or she isn't doing a good job fulfilling his reponsibilities on schedule and following policies to the word. Put ENTP on projects with a bunch of dull illogical people who highly value schedules, punctuality, rules, and boring grind.

When ENTP wants a reaction deny it to him or her. Then react out of the blue when he or she is expecting it the least. Be irrational.

Tell ENTPs that their ideas are boring and unoriginal or plainly ignore them. Tell them that they are too enthusiastic and should tone it down and be more serious. Tell them that they don't see the bigger picture of things. Tell them that their ideas are unrealistic because they don't follow some stupid rule x,y,z. For added effect while you are at it, invent some more stupid rules.

Outdo an ENTP just because ENTP has decided to respect some rule or policy while you figured out a way around it. I have seen them go ballistic for weeks over this. They hate to be one-uped because somebody cheated. Expect them to wage an angry holy war against you as a way to make up for this.

Don't ever admire or praise ENTPs. To the contrary tell them that they are not special and awesome at all. Tell them about MBTI and try to fit them into ENTP strereotypes.

Act like you are superior to ENTP. Exert control over them, micromanage them, deny them any privacy. Alternatively behave needy and clingy, call them all the time to check where they are, act very paranoid and accuse them of all kinds of things in the time you haven't had contact. Turn yourself into a responsibility (well, this one is likely to piss off any MTBI type …).

Psychoanalyze ENTP. There is this chaos inside of their head that they embrace, but even their chaos has some rigid fences and rules to it. Pick through their mind and identify these limitations. Then use them to pressure the ENTP.

Manipulate an ENTP. Make sure he or she discovers it at the end when you are done.

Cut off the escape routes - this is the most difficult if not next to impossible part here. ENTP is very likely to escape before you can properly drive him or her up the wall.

You will see their eyes go motionless and dull when you finally got it. Be prepared to grapple with your conscience at this point because only a horrible sadistic person would do all of the above to any charming lovable ENTP and attempt to extinguish that playful light in their eyes. It is a terrible sight to see it go. But you can do this to the mean not-so-charming ENTPs.

Wow... you hit the spot. I remember having to experience every single point you just covered throughout my teen years without any real relief. The attacks came from all sides: teachers, classmates, parents, people who I thought where my friends. Literally took the life out of me and gave me that checked-out, thousand mile stare. Took years to recover.


To this day though I still get chewed out for being five minutes late. It makes absolutely no sense to me and I argue with my boss at times (He's ESTJ, can't stand him). Thank God university professors aren't like this. I get the feeling they kinda like me more because of it.

In all honesty, I don't get pissed off. I get annoyed for various reasons though. Mainly incompetent people who complain about their lives to me. I don't take their shit. I tell them to stop complaining to me and feeling sorry for themselves.

Being disrespected really annoys me. This has led to me getting pissed off.

I get annoyed when I make a joke and someone gets deeply deeply offended and tells me that I really have reevaluate my values and how I live my life. This has happened lol.

And slow drivers. They piss me off.

thanks. that all sounds easy enough. if it's at all possible to change your MBTI personality type from your teen years to your adult type, it was definitly and ENTP. or J. either way, tomorrow at work will be super fun for me. i'll end up ducking a thrown shoe like President Bush if all goes well.
