    Cognitive functions

    Ne>Se>Te>Ti>Ni=Fi>Fe>Si

Thats the latest result I got from the test at Keys 2 Cognition - Cognitive Processes .

Now the test did tell me that I'd most likely be an ENTP but my cognitive functions aren't very similar to that of an usual ENTP so WHAT THE HELL!?

Am I or am I not an ENTP. I do consider myself an ENTP but this is odd...
Ne>Ti>Se>Fi is the usual one so why is my list so different?

edit: k why do different sites tell that my 4 functions are other . http://www.famoustype.com/functions.htm this one made me sure that I am an ENTP but how can there be 2 extra extroverted functions before my secondary?

Edit: where the hell is grey XDXD!?

I don't know.. but when you find out, I'd like to know, too! Mine was also waaay off ENTP. I'm moderate in all but N (I'm strongly N), but I've pretty consistently tested ENTP (excepting two times.. once I tested as ENFP and once as INTP). Though this is my first time taking a cognitive functions based test...

    I got Fi > Se = Fe > Ne > Te > Ti > Ni > Si

It told me I was probably ESFP and if not to consider ISFP or ENFP. Huh?

I'm thinking the test might not be so great. There was a lot of the questions where I thought it could go either way, depending on the interpretation. Though if someone has a better explanation, I'd be keen to hear it!

Hey, @psychswot, you can simply check these results if they match. I agree the test of cognitive functions is not very great - funny thing is, it would probably diagnose an Introvert better because of how the question modules are constructed. For an Extrovert it should be less interconnected, I think.

    Ne > Ti > Te > Ni > Fi > Se > Si > Fe

It's wrong in its ordering of Fe and Si. Strangely enough, I agree with it in that my Fe is actually weaker than my Fi. Not that much weaker though.

Yeah... let me know when you find that out as well. I believe it's based on the preference of function in everyday life maybe, not really how developed it is? Not quite sure. And apparently my Inutition is one lump function.

    Ti>Ne>Ni>Fi>Se>Te>Fe>Si

Thanks, @Maura, I took another one to see if they matched.

    So now I got Ti > Te = Fe > Ne = Se > Ni > Fi > Si

This time with the Ti miles above everything else, which was all smooshed together. That's a completely different order (except perhaps it's rather clear that I don't use Si). I think these cogntive function tests are hugely mood dependant or something.

Why do you say it wouldn't diagnose an extrovert so well?

@psychswot - well, because we have a wee bit shorter attention span, maybe :)?

I just took a couple cognitive functions tests and I scored really low on Fe as well. I think that it's based on the wording of the questions. For example, "Feel inclined to be responsible for, and take care of, others' feelings." Um. No. I don't feel responsible for others' feelings. I'm responsible for my own; not other people's. But, that doesn't mean I'm not considerate of their feelings, or unaware of them, or uncaring if I do hurt their feelings. I'm just too pro-autonomy to think I have any responsibility for how other people feel and/or experience emotion. So, if I'm answering these questions honestly, I'm going to score a lot lower on Fe than I how I (think I) actually behave in the real world.

Finally took the Cognitive Test. Wow, I really am an unfeeling bastard as an old friend told me once. Neither Fe nor FI reach even the inferior function.
