I drive safely, but fast. That is, when I know there's nothing around me (including cops) and there's no way a surprise could jump up at me, then I go well over the speed limit. I've never been pulled over either. You gotta be smart about it. I love driving in the rural roads at night time, since a lot of them in my area are well lit, and there's no traffic. Got some good turns in there as well.

I'm a speeder as well, never been caught, but I do enjoy rolling at like ten or fifteen under the sped limit sometimes. It pisses people off, which brings me great joy. (:

Ah, fuck me. I've had 3 "excessively speeding" tickets, and 2 pull-overs for DUI (no ticket cuz I do favours *wink wink*). I also got my licence suspended for 4 months.

Have I been in a crash before?...oh yeah, I spun out once on the highway, and I hit a mailbox once (but the fucker came out of nowhere, I SWEAR!).

But considering all these infractions, I usually take a large amount of risk when I am driving, constantly passing people, running red lights, etc.

But what can you do when you are permanently running late? Speaking of which......

I drive thinking that the speed outside is not relative to my perception of acceleration inside. I sometimes think that my eyes are lying to me, telling me that I'm moving, whilst theres only a bit of vibration to tell me otherwise.

I frequently slam on the brakes without warning to remind me otherwise.

I walk, run or cycle almost everywhere and thus can eat whatever shit I want, do no other exercise, save a bomb on transport money and still stay ultra skinny!

I'm safer when I am going fast and driving "actively". When I try to drive the limit and just go along I get distracted, bored, and sometimes even come close to nodding off. Lately I've tried to get other people to drive so I can amuse myself with my phone or the GPS.

I went 17 years without a speeding ticket but got one each of the last three years. They must be tightening up enforcement.

Yeah its actually a great thinking time! I dunno about you but I need lots of thinking time and waling cycling and running is realy good thinking time that also makes you tired so you can actually sleep! (mind you it rarely makes me tired now cause I can walk 20 miles a day and be absolute fine)

...but I drive safely to make up for my lack of skill! I simply can't focus on the road for very long before I start getting bored and sleepy, so I've got to sing loudly the entire time to keep myself awake.

I like to speed when I'm driving, average range is probably 100-120 in areas I know no cops will be around. I'm not crazy about it though. If there's people around I take it easy on the pedal and drive with the traffic.
