I am curious what other ENTP relationships are like. I am dating an ENTJ and it's interesting. Also, I posted the following conversation in the ENTJ forum and they didn't find it amusing... I still do.



Me (entp): You need to learn to take yourself less seriously.
BF (entj): It's tough though (with a legitimately concerned expression)
Me: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. HAHAHAH. *Tears* HAHAHAHA. Exactly. I couldn't have scripted a better response.

BF: What's your favorite thing in the whole world?
Me: Parachute Pants
BF: Haha. Mines being right

Me: How is flipping off that guy going to make this situation any better, can I just flash him?
BF: No, those are mine, I need him to know what an idiot he is.

BF: It's so nice to find a girl that's pretty and theorizes time travel (notice pretty came first...)
Me: It's so nice to surrender the pants for once, and be comfortable pantsless. Can I leave my socks on though? My feet get cold, especially at night. My hands get cold too, but normally I can warm those up without drawing attention to my cold extremities and-
BF: Good night.

Me: Give me a kiss or I'm leaving
BF: ...bye

Me: Shit, I forgot to shave my left leg
BF: Did you remember to make the bed?
Me: I forgot to shave my left leg...
BF: I heard you, what about the bed?
Me: Left leg.
BF: right. I turned off your curling iron for you.

Me: Can I drive?
BF: Don't ask silly questions.

Me: So I read today that the perfect type for me is an INFJ... I think you need to start being more sensitive, someone has to.
BF: That, still? Get out of your head, that's ridiculous.

I think ENTJ/ENTP is a good combo if the ENTJ's healthy and [reasonably] flexible.

he is healthy and much more in tune with his emotions than I am. HOWEVER... I find myself thinking that I wish he could lighten up! That and I haven't figured out how to convince him that I'm smarter than him... I am... it's just a matter of selling him on that fact.

Hahahah, as an ENTJ, I find it amusing too :) I actually think I've had conversations like that! Ultimatums and checklists... ahhh, always create an entertaining situation.

Not gonna lie....These conversations remind me of my INFJ ex! (Needless to say, he wasn't your typical, fuzzy NF.) Funny stuff, though.

You'd think, but this one was kind of a jerk. He acted more like an NT at times, but he's clearly an INFJ once you get to know him.

The other INFJ I know is majorly "fuzzy" and loveable, so it can't be a general INFJ thing. Then again, this other INFJ is much, much older. I think it's common in INFJ teenagers, to be less NF-like -- especially among the guys.
