Need ENTP ideas for an ENTP challenge

    Hello my favtypes,

I need challenges for a ENTP man!!!
I mid age ENTP has told me that he wants (read requires) a woman who challenges him.
Being a candidate :P in his eyes, I have absolutely know idea how to this!!!
I'm use to little boys and wrapping them around my finger.
I'm just have no idea how to challenge a man who is:
    1). older than me
    2). more successful than me
3). probably smarter than me (or would at least have me believe so)
4). who has WAAAAYYYY more energy to burn than me

I don't even know if I like him yet, and I'm worried that if I stall he will get bored and move on. But at the same time, as an INFJ, it's not my style to chase or pretend to be more interesting or energetic than I am!
    However,
The ball, it seems, is in my court.

So I thought if anyone knew how to bring challenges to the table it would be you guys!
So any ideas what to do, where this is going, or any ulterior motives I might have misses, would be much appreciated.... @%* ENTP's why oh why am I attracted to them!

p.s. It's early days yet and I'm stalling the intimate side of things.

Come up with some complicated ideal or plan that you know will catch his interest. Those are essentially our scooby snacks, we'll do almost anything for them. Or perhaps help him refine one of his master plans.
I'm not sure how well those will work on a mature entp but for the younger one's it's pretty attractive.

And, I would guess by "challenge" he means being able to hold their own against him in intellectual pursuits.
So you might want to beef up your Ne.

Yeah - intelligent debate, ambitions of your own....Basically, he wants an intellectual equal: a woman who won't just stand there and look pretty.

What INFJs have to offer ENTPs:

An imaginative playmate in their strange little games

Someone who understands them so well they are one step ahead

    Someone who occassionally outsmarts them

A partner who can recognise the unorthodox way they express their feelings

A lover who can teach them it is OK to be tender

    Rouge,

    I love it!!!!
I always thought Calvin was a ENTP.... although, he's a bit of a recluse for one. The ENTP's (both genders) I know have an array of friends (read: couple of close friends, and an extensive entourage of acquaintances tagging along for the good times).

Should I tell him one of my day-dream business plans, or will he see straight through that? -I've got a feeling he might. This one doesn't respond to flattery... let alone fall for it.

    It's tricky.

Yes, Calvin seems to hang out only with Hobbes and Susie. But I wouldn't be so quick to say he's an INTP. All the ENTPs I've known have told me at some point that they're an introvert. They live as much in their heads as we INFJs do and feel a need to be alone to recharge. I feel the key difference between INTPs and ENTPs is not in the number of friends they spend time with. But (1) how witty they are (INTPs have their own brand of humour but they're not as verbally quick as ENTPs) (2) whether they're always playing devil's advocate, even to themselves and (3) the level of craziness they get up to at parties.

ENTPs have the same perceiving function as INFJs. He'd probably see through that. I feel the best way to approach him is to be yourself. My ENTP friends and I have stimulating conversations on all kinds of topics- current affairs, books, movies, music, art, tradition, travel, the role of men vs women, even fashion design. There's no need to prepare a topic to impress him. Being an ENTP, he'd come up with all the topics himself and you'd naturally impress him with the way you process information as an INFJ. I find that my ENTP friends and I often arrive at the same conclusion via different routes and it's always interesting for both sides to see where the other party is coming from.

Don't think too much shadowplay, just enjoy your ENTP friend and everything will work itself out naturally from there

    Hey great advice.
I don't really know else I can do which he won't see through.
Even if i try harder, he might be doing that to see if I'll fall for manipulation, and G** I don't want that!
I guess I'm just insecure (and have a reasonable hunch) that he'll lose interest soon.
    Oh well
