Because i'm so frigging mainstream i'm copying this thread.
I was the loner/jock/class clown/teacher's pet/alpha geek/prankster/grind all in one.
I was homeschooled.
"You don't really fit into anywhere man."
Was at the epitome of my lone wolfish-ness my senior year, which, funnily enough, is when I started shifting over from introversion to extroversion.
I was a floater.
I'm currently a Drama Geek, through and through.
Yeah, I've noticed that Drama club seems to hate everyone but Drama club, and we love being thought of as weird. I was talking to an SGA kid, and I was like "Yeah, a lot of Drama people hate SGA" (I had assumed it was mutual and understood) and he was like "What? Why?"
That's how people generally were towards the drama kids at my school. Everybody acted like such apathetic cunts when they performed at our pep-rallies but I always admired how they still put on a flawless show and didn't give two shits about any heckling they received.
Your drama kids had to preform at pep-rallies? I would hate that so much...
I haven't been to one and I don't plan to go.
But we typically judge the audience rather then our performance when they aren't good.
In my last show we had great audiences laughing all the time the first two nights, and the third and final audience was just dead.
During intermission we're like "We are going to go out them and tell them that we're going to do the second act, and they better laugh because we're fucking funny and it helps our self-esteem!"
I mean, we work for hours on this show
We are going to do a great job and you had better appreciate it!
I'm rambling now.. thanks for your admiration of my peers.
