I wouldn't consider myself a masochist of any variety; I do subject myself to a lot of mental torment but I don't enjoy it. I believe it should say:

SO TRUE about listening to someone give a speech and wanting to stand up and argue! I have hard time hiding it, I make overly dramatic expressions of disagreement with my body language if I can't actually speak.


Previous posts always give me ideas ... hey. You know you're an ENTP when you can't move on from a subject until you've made your opinion very clear and appended any aspects that need to also be addressed.

You know you're an ENTP when you can't listen calmly to an irrational rant and gracefully respond come your turn - your "butt-in-&-question" instinct is just too immediate and abrasive regardless of situational appropriateness.

You know you're an ENTP when in a movie you cheer for whomever seems cleverest, good guy bad guy or minor character. You change loyalties when your guy gets outsmarted. Nonetheless, throughout the movie you verbally offer your advice to all characters.

You know you're an ENTP when you're debating and get told to shut up but feel the need to keep pushing until the person becomes very angry or starts to cry. You deprive pleasure from this person become emotional in a debate, knowing that you have the ability to screw with someone on so many different levels while becoming unemotional yourself.

how would you counter someone like this? remain apathetic? or try to piss off the other guy instead?

(i realize that i am asking for a strategy from you to defeat someone like you but i figure that your tactics are well-ranged enough that you've already figured out a way to beat yourself if the situation ever arose.)
