Yeah, that's kind of creepy, isn't it. BTW, when I saw your signature for the first time, I immediately thought "wow, a like-minded individual" :D

(I think we're derailing the thread)

    II. ENTPs: Subtypes and Variations

    Subtype Differences

As the title suggests, this article is mainly focused on the Enneagram variations of different ENTPs. The development of cognitive functions may cause variations even among the different ENTP Enneatypes, not to mention their instinctual stacking (sx/so/sp) and tritype variations. Instead, I'll just try to give you a general overview of how they may appear individually, separate from the elements mentioned above.

    Enneagram 1 ENTPs

General Description: Extremely rare. As Enneagram 1 is mostly superego-focused and seems to carry strong sentiments better relatable to with Fi, it is rare to see ENTPs incorporate this type's beliefs. However, the ones that do are often moral perfectionists. This, in turn, does not mean their Fe necessarily is developed; rather, the contrary. By fear of moral corruption, ENTP 1s are more likely to shy away from Fe, which is often based on collective morality rather than individual morality, the trademark of 1s. However, 1s may often appear "nicer" per definition as they have strong principles and self-discipline and thus may look out for others as part of their principles rather than Fe-induced empathy. Often more detail-oriented than other ENTPs.

Often has more developed Ti and Si. May appear more J and introverted as a whole.

Under Stress: Negative Si and Fe may take shape as aggressive outbursts. Disintegration towards a negative 4 causes them to be melancholy and resentful. May be inflexible, morally arrogant and condemning to those that do not follow their own standards. Can be demeaning towards those doing "the right thing" for appreciation rather than for the sake of what's right, but in truth, want to feel more appreciated themselves. Takes criticism harshly, but is hardest on oneself.

Potentially mistyped as: ISTJ, ISFJ, INTP, INFP

    Enneagram 2 ENTPs

General Description: Upbeat and altruistic, these ENTPs are some of the happiest to be around. Very good at comforting others; often has a knack for thinking up ideas that will make others around them happy. More emotional than other ENTPs; their Fe can sometimes overpower them (hence making them mistakable as ExFPs). Very idealistic - is sometimes more passionate about the idea of helping someone rather than the actual helping process in itself.

Often has more developed Fe and Ne. Often more P than J; extroverted.

Under Stress: When feeling underappreciated, ENTP 2s may overestimate their own virtue. Their disintegration towards an 8 makes them aggressive and domineering; will be more manipulative and dramatic as a negative ISFJ. However, their Si/Fe-loops will cause them to relive their own wrongdoings, trapping them in guilt and shame. This, in turn, adds onto the aggression. More inclined to emotional outbursts (Fe).

Potentially mistyped as: ESFP, ENFP, ENFJ, ESFJ
