I've seen this everywhere, sounds pretty right, but I'd have never guessed the writing thing, I know some ENTPs are into the arts, but it's kind of weird.

Speak for yourself, you can't leach off the awesomeness of a profile, you are just a mere human being that has been categorized, placed into a box full of holes and rubix cubes, you can not be the shit

First, thank you for those statistics melbel.

Second, I would like to second the content of Jackass's comment. I'd put it more constructively, but that would distract from its most important qualities :)

Thirdly, I think that lots of the stats stem from more nebulous truths. Of course we violate alcohol policies, because we violate policies in general. Or wanting creativity in originality at work. That's an obvious conclusion from everything else about our personalities.

Nice to know about the hypertension and that other ENTPs are smart enough not to watch TV, that wouldn't have been so prima faciely obvious, but I don't get the Type A thing.

The Type A Thing, has a little to do with your attitude towards life. Some people are more playful, laid back and go with the flow (A) and others are more hardworking, ambitious, workaholic. That's what I recall it to be, I'm not sure exactly how right my definitions are unfortunately. Most people fall in the middle somewhere, that's the sweet spot.

Wikipedia (I know I know...) says Type A is:

    - "An intrinsic insecurity or insufficient level of self-esteem"
    - "Time urgency and impatience"
    - "Free floating hostility"

I don't associate any of those things with myself normally.

Maybe there is a split though. Maybe if you're an immature ENTP you're more Type A (or so I hope) :D
    Futurist thanked this post.

It's probably right, There might even be more than one type A... and it might not even have a type B associated with it, was there anything on type Bs in that wikipedia article?

Younger ENTPs might encounter a few of those traits, I know I've once had the first one, and I've heard that at least one other ENTP has reported the same .

"Type A individuals can be described as impatient, time-conscious, concerned about their status, highly competitive, ambitious, business-like, aggressive, having difficulty relaxing; and are sometimes disliked by individuals with Type B personalties for the way that they're always rushing. They are often high-achieving workaholics who multi-task, drive themselves with deadlines, and are unhappy about delays. Because of these characteristics, Type A individuals are often described as "stress junkies.""

Sounds like me, pretty much. Even though I am a slacker when it comes to studies, I am not always a slacker, and when I do decide to work, I can work incredibly hard. I am a workaholic, no doubt about it. Didn't notice that when I was in school, only realized it once I started working.

well sometimes im pretty immature and i am not insecure or have insufficient levels of self-esteem by any means.

i think ENTP is an immature personality to begin with.

Speak for yourself! I'll admit that I am goofy and silly sometimes, but I don't think I am immature. I like to call it refreshing

I've been called wise beyond my years and have always fit in well with older friends. I usually date men who are 5 to 10 years my senior (not that they are all that mature themselves).
