I've been bad...

I have an exam tomorrow...

And in true procrastinator fashion, I've done NONE of the reading for it...

Now, I have to spend the rest of the day doing it and studying for the exam...

I know i need to stop this behavior..but I know I won't...

Just started reading this. Laugh out loud funny. Literally. Hubby came into the room last night to find out what the hell I was laughing at.

Book Description

Publication Date: April 17, 2012

For fans of Tina Fey and David Sedaris—Internet star Jenny Lawson, aka The Bloggess, makes her literary debut.

Jenny Lawson realized that the most mortifying moments of our lives—the ones we’d like to pretend never happened—are in fact the ones that define us. In Let’s Pretend This Never Happened, Lawson takes readers on a hilarious journey recalling her bizarre upbringing in rural Texas, her devastatingly awkward high school years, and her relationship with her long-suffering husband, Victor. Chapters include: “Stanley the Magical, Talking Squirrel”; “A Series of Angry Post-It Notes to My Husband”; “My Vagina Is Fine. Thanks for Asking”; “And Then I Snuck a Dead Cuban Alligator on an Airplane.” Pictures with captions (no one would believe these things without proof) accompany the text.

"Internal dialogue, thinking or whatever you want to call it holds you back from action. It is the rehearsal of an act or action. When there is complete commitment to an action, no matter how small and subtle or how large and violent, if it is complete and there is no holding back, then there will be no internal dialogue. Acting with this kind of commitment is a true expression of the warrior's spirit."

~From "The Craft Of The Warrior" by Robert L. Spencer

I personally like Mindful meditation (mindfulness). It's perfect for an ENFP because it can be done in just a few minutes with good results. I also listen to the most "relaxing tune ever"...a track created by a band along with scientists, and supposedly the most relaxing sounds to humans Most “relaxing tune ever” created scientifically by Manchester band | TheRandomFact.com

The "song" seems like it would cause uneasiness and anxiety when I first listened to it, but now I immediately imagine myself in my "place". I concentrate on my breathing and then I move to imagining myself in my place and I feel amazingly relaxed in just a few minutes.

I used Hypnobabies to get through the birth of my last baby without pain medication, and it worked! They advertise that you can have a "pain free" birth...yeah, I call BS, but I did make it through and that's all I wanted.
