slept within thirty minutes of getting home straight through to friday morning.
Busy week, but pressure was off by friday.

On a brighter note, I've got my card, much to some on-site humour =D

I think I'll scurry around your forum real quick to get a sense of how you guys think. Dominant function of ENTJ is Te - something I don't have but am working on.

Thanks for all the answers =)
its pretty much just a case of being able to naturally for see every possible outcome and making contingencies based off of that then deciding what should be done based off of those outcomes. it may sound complicated but im sure most entj's will agree it comes incredibly naturally to us and occurs without us even noticing, sometimes you might need to put a bit of thought into it for the very complicated ones or ones thats results will have far reaching effects. apart from that tho its pretty easy

My day starts relatively early. First things are first. I need to get dressed. I usually don't lay out clothes the night before but have already mentally prepared my wardrobe for the next few days. I floss, brush my teeth, & use mouthwash if I'm feeling like I have time. I feed my dog his special diet. Freshen up. Then harness him up and take him for a short potty walk. My purse, keys, & work badge are waiting neatly packed on my credenza. I don't usually eat breakfast or drink coffee until I get to work. So I grab my things and leave for my short commute. I have 2 buses to chose from depending on what time it is that I step out the door. I have a bus schedule app on my iPhone I constantly refresh to make sure I'll get to work on time.

I get to work. Sit down, put my headphones on, and work. People often ask if I am okay because I'm so focused. I'm typically just working and/or dividing my attention between 10 conversations with 10 individuals, my news feed, & my work. I flip through frequently. I've often been told they're amazed I get so much done since it seems like I'm doing more loafing around, but still exceed expectations. Amazing right? :P

On days off I usually look for stimulating reads most of the day if there is NOTHING else to do, otherwise -- A relaxing day for me is a day spent cleaning my apartment until it is spotless. I sweep, dust, vacuum, steam-clean the floors, wash the windows & mirrors, oil the wood furniture, take out the trash, do the dishes, unload the dishwasher, do laundry, make my bed (military corners) & entertain my dog on my days off. I open the windows & blinds and let the cool air flow through the apartment for a few hours while take a moment to close my eyes and breathe. After about 30 minutes I'll get up and wrap up any of the last things I had to do. Then get online and start browsing my RSS feeds, newsgroups & Twitter. On occasion (if I'm feeling particularly lazy) I'll sit around on the computer. Play a stimulating game such as an RTS or RPG game.

I can try to describe my week. Maybe my fellow ENTJs can relate to me, because normally people think I am crazy, when I tell them what I do all day.

Monday-Friday: Wake up, listen to my Spanish podcast on the way to work (Finance), work more or less efficiently (no one has complained yet) with Ipod in the ear listening to French podcast or French news, reviewing some French or Spanish grammar in-between the work hours. After work going to dance class (Belly dance, Argentine Tango, Ballet) and/or Salsa/Tango night. Alternatively practicing any of these dances at home and doing some pilates. End the day with 20 min of meditation and reading a book in bed.
Weekend: Wake up, lunch with friends, more dance classes, dinner with friends, going Tango dancing or clubbing. Alternatively going to piano practice.
    Rinse and repeat

It is hard for my to just take a day off and sit on the couch. I have to be really sick in that case or Diablo 3 is out. But I have to state that I do not live up to the clean and tidy ENTJ reputation, I hate tidying up my stuff and I often forget, loose or break things.

I used to be obsessive about listening to my daily podcasts. Not sure what changed that. The mornings have been too hectic ever since my dog got sick. Now I have to take an extra step to get him ready for the day and podcasts have been removed from the priority list.

    Rise and repeat
Being the J-type we are, I've often wondered what would happen if our routine was thrown off. I typically get super frazzle but seem to hold my shit together. How do you normally do with extreme change to morning routine?

Given I am still in the process of studying and working a couple of jobs part time, I have no set daily schedule. I do however, have a weekly plan worked out and stuck on the wall in front of me. To the extent that I do have a daily routine, everything (clothes, bags, books, equipment, homework etc) is organised the night before, wake up time is early and bed time is late.

On my weekly plan I have set aside time for work, class, study, sleep, exercise and "free time". Free time is apportioned at my discretion. Usually, if something important clashes with study, sleep or exercise, free time affords me enough flexibility to replace that free time with either study, sleep or exercise. So, @Miso, that is how I deal with my routine being thrown off. I plan for the plan to go wrong occasionally. How very J of me.

    Structure replies in either
    1. check-list form: what you get done usually during a day)
    or
    2. planner form: your usual daily routine, step-by-step)
The replies so far surprise me. It feels strange reading them.

The only priorities/schedule I have in a day, are the things I enjoy, like getting my fav snacks before arriving to work, having a coffee brake with my fav colleague, turning on pc the second I return home and such.
I have no religiously followed schedule for the whole day - apart work.

My mornings depend on whether I overslept or woke mid-night. I get ready for work, I grab snack from my fav salesman, work, go for coffee or home, or out clubbing.
The rest are...Reading, studying, learning something new, fooling around net, games, food, food, food.

The thing I do a lot, every day, is Planning. I make plans on everything, lists and schedules. Is my favorite past-time.
"Ok, tomorrow at xx:xx I will sell stock Y and 10 days later will buy stock Y"
    "Ok, in 5 years I should have x & y & z"

When really bored I like making daily timed schedules (planners) - did that since young - but rarely get to follow them. I am not a robot; I don't care to follow schedules like I am a pc program. I might or might NOT follow my own plans, I might or might not do the same things every subsequent day (chances are: I will not).
Same day after day life habits, makes me panic on the very thought. Feels like being cattle in cages...

    Like being lobotomized.

I do news feeds (I use Pulse and g-reader for reading, Denso for watching and Podcaster for um.. podcasts). I'm constantly looking for new feeds about particular subjects. I like to read and watch this stuff while I am using public transportation so I can get my current news fill while keeping overly friendly derelicts at bay.

I don't get too frazzled if it is thrown off for a good reason- I dislike having to adjust my routine and fine tune everything again, but if there is something beneficial or paying out bigger I am happy to oblige. I hate when the change is inefficient or for a stupid reason. That can get me very tight jawed and pissy (lol).

I'm more prone to become annoyed with routine in work. I absolutely find structure necessary, but when the actual job I do becomes routine I just want to kill people (I imagine myself pulling a columbine if I had to be a mail man or accountant lol).
