I've been doing a lot of research on MBTI lately simply out of interest and I've come across an issue. While all this time I've seen myself as an ENTJ, I'm now not so sure after reading several descriptions of the ENTP. Don't get me wrong, I understand that this would seem odd to others. The fact that I would actually get confused between the two types seems odd to me too. The faster this is solved, the better.

Here's a quick summary of what I find relevant...



- On cognitive functions, I've taken the test available on this site several times. Each time, Te came out the highest with Ne always a close second. I highly doubt that this test accurate and comprehensive however, so I have reservations about the results...

- The ENT in me is undisputed in my view. On the J/P dichotomy, frankly, I don't even know where to begin in judging which one I lean towards more. The distinction between the two is not clear to me now that I'm taking time to think about it.

- What really strikes me about the description of an ENTP is their sociable and easy going nature that's characteristic of them. I've been told frequently that this fits me, although I do become quite "harsh, controlling, and insensitive" when it comes to projects I get involved in. This point in particular seems the most relevant to me in this issue.

As I said in the title, a second opinion would be appreciated. If anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Your post starts incorrectly by leaving out the word ''been'' before the word ''doing'' at the start of your sentence... you're an ENTP.

Hehe, FYI, I wasn't implying anything by using the word "need." Sorry if that's misleading.

As for how fast it happens, I'm simply an impatient person.
Obviously the answer isn't going to change who I am. It's a simple matter of wanting to know. :)

I'm more of a fan of Indian food. I tip so well the owner of this one place I frequented started cooking my meals for me personally. I'd never have to order. Just sit down, they bring me out some tea to drink, and something more delicious than the last meal was sat in front if me.

It was a little slice of heaven.
