    Female ENTJs

I once read that: a lot of females are a "mistyped" ENTJ but I truly wonder if that's a misconception. I mean, why? They say "for a female it's not encouraged to be ENTJ", but it doesn't mean there's nobody out there right?

Personally I had the hardest time recognizing I had the traits of an ENTJ. Not because I wanted to conform to that stereotype or something, but simply rationalizing the thought "I was merely different". Now I've learned to see that I'm not merely a little different, but I'm sometimes displaying traits that are not understood in this society (because perhaps the female ENTJ maybe is an odd commodity).

Professionally I constantly envy my male counterparts. As a female ENTJ everything that comes out of my mouth seems to have violated someone. I learned that this is not *what* I say, but it's truly because people are a wee bit more sensitive when this comes from a woman. Directness and a lack of interest in others when it does not directly serve a purpose is sort of not understood here.

Women have always been treated like shit.

    Those bitches, women are amazing.

Honey, roflt. You're the reason that I work with men for most of my day. I chose you because you're "less complicated like that". Now let the ladies speak up. I ain't lookin' for a sympathy ride or to get in an x versus y conversation. You're welcome to join if it goes beyond two sentences.

@TheOpenDoor. Damn I'm glad your here!

    Experiences:

Expectation that I will be girly-girl, that I want to settle down, have a family and be sweet little cupcake and gentle as a kitten. An intensity that is misinterpreted and being a bitch or having a estrogen overload.

An underestimation of my brains and my brawn.

I hear ya~. It's like "wanting to be neither" and it takes a lot of energy to keep swimming the lane you prefer. Truth be said: I'm lacking some energy myself right now. So what do you do to keep your energy level strong? Tips?

p.s. Don't worry, TheOpenDoor and I were merely ENTJ with a smile.

What, you like me? I thought you hated me. xp

Women have never been acknowledged. Ever.
They've always been looked down upon. "Don't be this, don't be that, you can't do this, you can't do that".

You know what motherfucker? Women can do whatever the fuck they want.
And if women are so stupid, why do they have to do EVERYTHING for you? Huh?

Act like a lady and think like a boss has been my mentality since I was a child. ;)

I just spent hours reading over all the types of cognitive processes and have come to accept that I am most definitely an ENTJ.
    And I'm proud of it.

As a matter of fact, I'm just going to go ahead and make a nice, pretty, little list of all the things I love about being an ENTP.

    - My quick wit (probably something to do with extroverted sensing)
    - The ability to juggle a million things at once
    - The fact that I can walk blindly into a test without studying and still pass
    - My charisma and the ability to manipulate the hell out of people (but sometimes I think people just want to do things for me)
    - I have the ability to work better under stress
    - I can read people like books
    - Always coming up with ideas and thoughts that most people never notice
    - All my friends come to me for advice when they don't know what to do (kind of a blessing and a curse)
    - Extremely goal-oriented (I take pride in a job well done)
    - I can fix almost anything
    - Leaving everyone in my dust at work
    - The ability to make a quick decision without having any regrets

Everyone in my family gives me pats on the back for going to college and holding down a job, and I'm just like...... Um..... What the hell else am I gonna do? Lay around on my ass until I'm 30? I don't think so.
One downfall about being an ENTP though,
I hold such high expectations for myself that every accomplishment seems to just be minuscule. My boss is telling me how great of a job I'm doing, and all I can do is kick myself for forgetting one tiny detail that went completely unnoticed.

    @lilnesbomb ENTJ or ENTP?

And I like stress, it fuels me physically and mentally. LOL honestly it's like a rush when its crunch time for deadlines. It's downright exciting when you start seeing the ducks line up in a row in a just a few hours.

    ENTJ.
I was on the fence between ENTP and ENTJ, but I did some intensive investigation of personality types and I'm now comfortable to say I'm ENTJ all the way.

Can you relate to anything else on that pretty little list?
