Out of curiosity, I'd like to know: what would you love someone to say to you? What parts of you would you most like to be complimented on?



It doesn't matter who it's from: friend, co-worker, classmate, boss, SO, random stranger in the street, but what are things that you would want to hear, things that you’d like most to be said to you?

Feel free to also add in things that have been said and that made your day when you heard them.

I'm not a fan of praise or compliments actually. I like recognition and reputation more:

I recently got put on a new project at work and the one senior manager said "I've heard great things about you." Or, last year, when a project ended, I heard through the grapevine that the project's manager commented to a coworker that "teams will be fighting over me" because I'm a great asset.

These are work related compliments, I know - I don't need or like personal compliments actually. I know I look good... I don't need reassurance. :)
