It kind of entertains me that ENTJs have a hard time making eye contact, but stare at people when people are not looking. It also entertains me that ENTJs put themselves through so much physical/mental pain to succeed. I wish I could be still friends with the ENTJ I recently knew, just to annoy him, and to analyze his inner workings, but I am not Icharus...I don't fly too close to the person who thinks he is the sun.
we dont put ourselves through pain : what's looks like pain to you is what drives us ENTJs, trying to overcome stuff other people are not wired to. Maybe you judged the person wrong and they were not ENTJ

ENTJs have a hard time making eye contact? *confused*

ENTJs might initially find you interesting, but will lose interest very soon.

You will soon become just another object which servers just another purpose, and then, if we don't have anything special for you, you'll feel really neglected and eventually things will turn ugly.

@Edinburgh while I am also confused by some of the stuff you said, the point of this comment is to say that this "ENTJ" Does NOT speak for me and ONLY speaks for himself, while I can be an ass, I hate to see people used and discarded as an object.

    Seriously be nice.

I really try to keep this side to me under wraps.
Sometimes I am pushed over the edge and I tell it like it is and I hurt feelings.
When I am in a angered state feelings really become very insignificant and I really don't give a shit.
How do other NT's deal with this?
I've gotten in trouble at work for not choosing the right words.
I really get into trouble some times because my Extroverted self gets the best of me.
I can see why 15+ people thanked this and I agree with them!

-I am very cold hearted when upset. I could care less about someone's family or their personal issue, when its a declared enemy.
I find it hard over the years to express myself, emotions, to new people. Unless for some odd reason I feel comfortable with them.

    ENTJ - The Executives

Hi, I'm an ENTJ. Recently, I just found out that I'm an ENTJ and I can say that almost all of the personality check points are true.

Honestly, I'm afraid of myself more than I'm afraid of God or my parents. Like any other ENTJ, I love to inspire people, make them do what I've planned unconsciously and most of the time, willingly. I love to see people as my chess pieces. Sometimes, I don't even recognize my true self, emotionally, perhaps that is because ENTJ can control their emotion almost perfectly, fake emotions and expressions.

But under normal circumstances, I'm pretty sure that all of those above are considered natural and acceptable. What I'm afraid the most comes when I start to lose control of the game, I lost control of my emotion. It's like a black hole sucking everything and creates a brutal ending sometimes. It gets worse when the plan doesn't really work and cost me a lot of pain like money, time, sometimes heartbreaks. I went berserk and lose sight of friends or foe.

What should I do to make it better? I'm afraid of myself becoming a tyrant or something worse...

Thanks in advance and sorry for the bad grammar.

@access89 Hi and welcome to the forum. I think you need to work on your Fi. Your feeling side. Once you do, I think a lot of these bad things won't be a problem.

Thank you @MissScarlet for the reply. How to work on Fi? I've tried to rely on Feelings and let it overcome my logic, hence it failed and cost unbelievably.

@access89 In regard to strengthening Fi...perhaps you should try to prove to yourself that losing control isn't always so bad; that way, the fear might lessen for you? Maybe try giving up control over trivial things in your life...baby steps. Maybe once you do, and see that it's not so bad, you can push that envelope just a bit further to help with the fear even more.

I'm not saying the goal is to stop needing control, I'm saying that you might be able to decrease the fear a bit. If you can decrease the fear, then the thought of losing control won't have such a strong grip on you.

    @access89

Take some time for some serious introspection and find out what is at the root of your need to control. I recommend keeping a journal of your thoughts. I find journaling is very therapeutic and provides an outlet for me to let my unfiltered thoughts out where I can see them. I can be as ugly, mean, and erratic as I want to be in my expression with no consequences. Once I release the energy through writing, I feel better, more relaxed, and focused.

Often times people who have a driving desire/need to control, mold, and inspire others do so to avoid dealing with their own life, fears, problems, challenges, and/or struggles. Redirect that attention back to self and be in control of you and I think you will find less of a need to control others, hence relinquishing the fear of becoming a tyrant or something else....

Edit: Ooops.... Btw, welcome to the forum....look forward to interacting with you and reading your future posts. :D
