I'm all about working with my body type. I'm a mesomorph with a hourglass shape and I'm only 5'4 so I wear a lot of black straight leg jeans with a cute print top or camisole and wear a blazer over it along with cute flats or even converses. If I just wanna go comfortable, I wear a pink/purple stripped cotton tee and pair it with a draped black cardigan. I like print and I'm only willing to wear a print as a blouse or camisole. I really love leopard, tiger, zebra, and striped print. I hate anything floral and very feminine. Lately though, I've really got into wearing crochet tops and black lace blouses so I don't mind dressing up. My must haves are my black leather jacket, beige leopard print cardigan, and I like to wear rosaries that my grandmother gave me as an accessory. I'm not a fan of jewelry though so I only wear a necklace and a red bangle that I have. I like my boobs the most so I like to show a little cleavage, no more than 20%, cause I'm not a ho.
If it's winter, I always wear a nice fitted peacoat with black uggs or tall boots. I hate wearing black leggings unless I have on a tunic that goes over my butt. I don't think it's cute when girls wear leggings as their ass shows, especially if that tush ain't tight. So I try my best to get away from that look during winter. I also love to wear black dresses during the summer and I pair it with flats or nice sandals. I hate heels, they're very uncomfortable for me and if I do wear them for a special occasion, I do not go higher than 2 inches.
I'm not big on labels but I do believe in buying quality clothes and working with your body shape so you know that what you're wearing flatters your figure instead of making you look bigger or sloppy. I stick to colors like dark purples, dark red, olive green, brown, black, grey, and beige... they seem to compliment my olive skin the most. I guess I would call my style - "rawr-put-together-cute".
