    ENTJ and INFP

I have a friend who tested first as an ENTJ and then later on as an ENFJ. I believe she switches between ENTJ and ENFJ. While I get along great with her F side, i can't really measure out how well I get along with her when her T side is dominant. In fact I think maybe that when it IS she stays away from me and that's why I lack any information on what that side of her is like.

What do ENTJ's think about INFP's in general?

If you are unsure about whether your friend is an entj or enfj, then she is probably an enfj.

I personally have major problems communicating with infp's and isfp's. I think it's probably due to your dominant Fi clashing with my need to have a logical explanation for everything.

An INFP and I were recently cast in lead roles in my school's musical, so we have been spending a lot of time together lately. At first, it was super awkward. We didn't really ever communicate about anything besides business related things.

After a couple of months, we finally broke the ice by confessing things that were bothering us about each other. It turns out that she always felt like she was annoying me, just like I always felt like I was hurting her feelings. Now that we have opened up a bit more to each other, we can hang out like good friends, and we generally poke fun at each other a lot to keep contact/communication up and lively. We still don't really understand each other.. at all.

I've always wondered why Keirsey pairs these two as an ideal match...

I get along with many fine, but there is something missing I'd want in a romantic relationship.

I've realized recently how many ENTJs I do know....I've just never been close to one. I've found many very interesting & generally friendly, not scary at all .

I interacted quite a bit with one ENTJ in HS and have known him since 1st grade, and we never clashed.
I also know several ENTJ ministers, and having a strong spiritual side developed, they tend to take great pains to be gentler with people than their nature may be inclined to do (and I know an irresistible ENFJ when I see one, so there's no being mistaken on their type ).

I'm very INFP if you can say that, and I find ENTJ the most interesting temperament. It's magnetic to me, they have this misterious thing about them, i cannot explain it, their commanding grace is addictive to me. But Ive also noticed a very important aspect, some aspect that most people neglect : the consciousness level of that person. I've noticed that the more evolved 2 people are the less negative impact their temperaments play in their relationship. I immediatly avoid any low consciousness ENTJ but I praise the high ones. Those ENTJs feel it too, they feel that I like them , they feel that I really respect their opinions, that I need their guidence, honestly and directly expressed, sometimes even childish, but the honesty in my expression makes them to have more pacience and they really feel that i want to serve them no matter what, and because of that, they let the guard down, they become alot less inhibited alot less commanding, they become more kind around me, because they know i dont want to trick them or disrespect them, it's a noneverbal communication, and they also feel my lack of judgement on their lack of "feeling", because they know that i know that I have enough of "feeling" for both, and that "feeling" is my gift to the relationship. I haven't had the priviledge to meet alot of ENTJs in my life but the ones I've meet made me feel extremly well in my skin, made me feel ok with myself and they stopped abit from my restless desire to "fix" myself. To draw the line, what an evolved ENTJ does to me is directing my inner energy of trying to fix myself into outer energy of service to others and feel good about it.

INFPs strike me as the most emotionally primal of the NFs.
