I've known a few ENTJ's in my life. One thing that I've noticed about ENTJ's(at least the ones I've known) is that they usually keep someone around them(a sidekick of sorts, usually ENFP/J) that they get great pleasure in making fun of while in the presence of others. Strangely enough the ENTJ will usually be pretty kind to this person when in small groups or when it's just them two alone, but I have seen some ENTJ's make a night out of humiliating some of their close friends. I don't think that there is a type that's better at making fun of people than ENTJ's, they say some pretty hilarious/witty things about people, though they can get pretty cruel at times with their humor. I knew one ENTJ in high school that used to love making fun of the custodians during lunch time, it could be funny, but sometimes when getting positive reactions from people when doing things like this, ENTJ's tend to unsuspectingly 'take it too far'.

Are you the custodian who got the broom stick rammed up his ass?

-Cool ENTJ you went to high school with.

This has been an interesting thread. I recently met an ENTJ guy..at least he thinks that is what he is. I was very excited to meet him until i came here! Ya'll are scaring me! He's contacted me in the past per a dating site. Though, he pursued me "a little", it certainly wasn't overly much. He did give me his number (which i promptly lost). Months passed and he found me on FB; then nothing. Finally, on the dating site he contacted me again, we chatted a long time and exchanged numbers. No call. I called after a few days and we had a long talk (4 hours!~). I'm very excited but now I don't know what to think. Ya'll are scaring me. I think the type that I was supposed to meet was ENFJ.. I'm INFP. The N connection was amazing!! I love his analytical mind! I enjoyed the topics of conversation we talked about! He already warned me about his "bossiness". I'm hoping he's not just bossy in his own house. I guess i will proceed cautiously...

Don't worry some of us like cupcakes (inside joke). Bossiness only stems from my want to systematically organize something in the most efficient way possible.

Ok, here's my example of how I can get irked by something not organized efficiently:

I was at target needing to get toilet paper. I walk around thinking it would be where all the cleaning stuff would be. Nope it wasn't there. So I thought perhaps, where all the diapers and femme stuff. Nope. At this point I'm getting frustrated but I needed to get other things anyway. Found an employee and asked where the toilet papers were and she said it was next to the food area.

At this point I thought it was stupid to have toilet papers next to the food. Who would, in their right mind think that the toilet papers would be placed next to the food area. Then I criticized that who ever did the store set up completely messed up with the toilet papers and would need to move that to either the cleaning material area. Besides, the paper towel was in the cleaning material area, I don't see why the toilet paper couldn't be in the same isle. This is the fastest way a customer can get all their supplies if they were looking for cleaning stuff.

Anyways that's the best example of why I would become bossy or have a hissy fit over something small. And it's only the best example because it's the only one I remember actually analyzing myself. lol.

Let it be known that I'm an ENTJ as well before we proceed.

Their inability to be as thorough as me.

What? No! ENTJs are cute and fuzzy. <3 I love them. How could they piss me off!?

I couldn't find a, "What do you love about ENTJs" thread, so, blah. (If there is one, link me up. :3)

Since I want to stay on topic, though, I have something to contribute. As an INTP, I tend to like the obscure and vague. ENTJs can be a little too... conspicuous for me. IE: The villain who shouts his or her plans to the world. Likewise, my ENTJ friend is direct and clear about everything, and my subtlety tends to aggravate her.

Hypothetically speaking, if an ENTJ villain were to shout his plans to the world, you should probably anticipate the exact opposite .... or not ;)

But yeah, there is some truth to your assessment. ENTJs are pretty excitable (as extraverts generally are).

Yes, that describes my ENTJ friend perfectly! I've often wondered if that's just because she changes her mind, or because she had something different set up from phase 1...

... or better yet, she may not be an ENTJ.

Added for clarity: If I change my mind, it's because I had reason to do so. If your friend is impulsive/spontaneous about changing plans, chances are, not an ENTJ.

She originally tested as INTJ, but the ENTJ description fits her too perfectly. I know she's no Perceiver. :P If she's not coming across ENTJ, it's most likely my fault. What I mean is, she plans in advance, but the end result is never exactly what I expect. :)

Whether she's ENTJ or not is not the issue, here. I love you guys, dammit! Haha. :3
