What Are You Influenced and Inspired By?

Who and what are you influenced the most by? Where do you get your thoughts from? Where do you get that excitement and inspiration from that makes you want to create, initiate, sought out, discover, get involved and become apart of?
I'm interested because ENTJ's are not generally known for being creative, so if not where do you get your sources of inspiration from?!

For me, I get most of my sources from two places: the first is the past - i like to see how people from other generations and times react to social changes (through fashion, music, art and film), particularly the 1960s [i'm less concerned with the present for some reason]; and the second source are my friends - none of my friends are ENTJ's so they think in a way that is quite different from me and as a result have very unusual and unique insights into different things, which I love because it means I have a close outlet of new things available to me.

    What about you?

This might be egotistical, but my main source of inspiration is me. To want to do something and then the act of doing it. It sounds worse than it is - that's all the influence I need really. I tend not to idolize anything or anyone. While I appreciate many things like art, music, past, etc, I wouldn't necessarily say it is involved in my "core" path. Rather, just side interests.

Maybe its just me being a type 3. Apparently we are known to make to do lists and include some things we recently did just for the simple fact that checking those items off give us satisfaction.

I with wairumas on this one. Also I love challenges and problem solving. So I get inspired by reaching a goal, making something which was seemingly unworkable, workable.

    Says who?

We start with an idea of our own design drawn from our own inspiration, plan, strategize, move forward and don't stop until we see our idea realized. That's making something from nothing more than an idea. That is creativity defined.

If there isn't money to be made from it, what is the point??? I'm half joking, for me if there is money, advancement, or a way to better myself then I'm in. If that means coming up with an idea and moving on it, or moving up in a corporation then that works for me...

I enjoy acquiring knowledge/experiences for their own sakes.

I enjoy planning my life out and completing tasks.

    I enjoy sex.
