Do the tritype types have wings?

I ask because I normally see people include them but do not normally see them in the standard description.

If so, I think I am an INTP 5w4-3w4-9w1 sp/sx. A nice, thorough, specific description of me I'd say. Sort of a weird combination, but I think it's the one that fits me best.

    When I tested I got 7 with c-p 6 wing, 4 with 3 wing and 9 with 1 wing. Sx-sp.
7 and 4 is a weird combo too.

I wouldn't say it's that weird. 7 leads to a desire for pleasure and excitement and the four makes the excitement unique and offbeat. They go together extremely well, I'd say (unless I misunderstand the Enneagram...could be I know much less about it than MBTI). My ESFP aunt is 7w6 c-p and 4w3 I suspect (probably either 9w1 or 1w9 last, so she's very much like you). She puts on the flair of the fun loving, eccentric aristocrat who wants nothing more than for others to share in the party (c-p 6 wing). She's awesome!

5 and 3 aren't weird when you think about it either I guess. You can have image focus about your work but be withdrawn yourself; that's how it is for me. I care a lot about how I am perceived and have to admit I have a desire to be famous, admired and beloved (I don't think it's a good thing, but it comes with the 3 territory). My five and sp-ness means I build my reputation by withdrawing, working, carefully presenting, and only showing others what I want them to see. I don't have a four leading, but the fact my first two wings are fours adds whimsy. But it doesn't contradict the three because it needs to be beloved whimsy, the whimsy of the lovable crackpot. End goal is always to be loved and admired for my eccentricities and talents. In the faint background I have a desire for people to get along so I can pursue those dreams without meddling (9w1).

It didn't seem to make sense but it comes together I guess.

The 7 and 4 do go well as far as I'm concerned because it feels more balanced especially with the 6 wing ,without feeling completely bipolar (or I guess tripolar) anyway lol.

Poor you to ave to deal with a real in your life version of me lol j/k. I definitely fit the eccentric part but I'm more of the musician/activist sort. There's even different descriptions of the tritype itself, one says creative the other says healer. I don't fit the healer in the slightest at least not any more lol. You should try doing a search for your own tritype. It took a while but I eventually found at least people discussing my own and it's interesting I find the Enneagram so much simpler than MBTI any day! lol

I saw 5's (the one I need to work on most) as more as dealing things as a Thinker in MBTI than introverted. I guess now that I think of it it would be a combination. I care too much how I am perceived so I relate to that. Maybe that's my 3 winged 4. lol@lovable crackpot, hmmm that's how I'd describe myself most days. I definitely related to those sentiments, I am totally with you there! I am looking to pursue my dreams without meddling too. Anyones's lol. It's me time now, baby!

I did some searching for tritypes info and I found a little bit in another forum of different ones, I forgot to consider that all types go with each other so there aren't really any weird types. I read that you use your core (7 for me, 5 for you) and when and if that fails your next one kicks in and then the next. I'm pretty much just familiar with core types and not much about tritypes except my own lol

Just out of curiosity, how is that in relation to her cp 6 wing?

    Cp 6 = 2w3, Pink.

    It's algebra.

I did score high in 2 originally. Now it's my lowest hehehe...finally I grew my 5 out and some 8 and replaced 2 with them.

I wish they didn't have it so you had to guess whether you were phobic or counter phobic. I hate uncertainty in that kind of area. Need more data...
