I think they pair extremes together, but I'm not so sure this counts for the types. I have to agree, however, that what ever the Enneagram types of the wives are, they're likely 'opposites' in terms of how they deal with things, especially their family.

hmm, this is true. I just always think of it as battle of extreme 1 vs extreme 7 :p
