Okay, I've decided that if I get into any more internet debates over typing when I've really analyzed the character, I'm going to implode.
I'm particularly annoying when arguing about that, drugs, and abortion. Probably more, but those are the three where everyone wants to strangle me by the end if they disagree.

I find this interested. At first I was skeptical of Sora being a Seven. The reason being the thirst for adventure is in all three of them -- Sora, Kairi, and Riku. They've been confined on an island for so long, not knowing what is out there. I think anybody in their right mind would get curious and want to see more. But I suppose I can see Sora being a Seven now. I just didn't see the escapism there at first. Do you think Sora also has a 1w9 or perhaps 9w1 gut fix?

Riku... do I see a Five influence there? I don't know why I say that exactly. I see jealousy, definitely. 3w4 is possible. It's hard to tell what his motivation is for sure, though. I wonder if 4w3, even, is possible. I can see One in him, somewhere. I think Eight is definitely also possible as a core for him. I don't see that Seven-escapism being his underlying motivation. Is it just me or do I see in him a sense of entitlement, almost?

Kairi? I don't see her as a Seven. Why would she be a Seven? o_O I don't think she is an image type either, though. Head type seems most likely. What about Six? Seems possible.

Just thought I'd add to the Kingdom Hearts discussion. -sigh- The only games I really play are the ones with good story and character development, which is why I am so drawn so Square Enix.

Oooohh speaking of which:

The World Ends With You. Any ideas about the characters there? Joshua seems like he has a Three fix if not core. 3w4?

If I had to guess I'd think that Sora's tritype is 7w6 2w3 9w1. He seems way too laidback to be 1 fixed.

A good tritype for Riku would be 8w9 5w4 3w4. The difference between him and Sora is that Sora wants to leave the island for the sake of fun and adventure, Riku wants to leave them because he feels trapped and frustrated by not knowing what's out there.Just like Xehanort, who I think is a 5w4.

she has a more fiery, aggressive, raw sort of energy than an 8w9 Sp/So (which would be more John Wayne or Henry). 8w9s, especially female, are more gentle, more subtle and a less animalistically Id demeanor to them. Maleficent is a vicious bitch who goes all out with it all the time (she's very much like Cruella de Vil, another 8w7 Sx/Sp)

1w2 So doms are very hot headed and constantly correcting the behavior of the group.
I could see So/Sx, but not Sx/So.

Eh, I had issues even coming up with a game whose characters I am familiar with to even begin to type but I'll go with Devil May Cry (excluding villains) then:

Dante 7w8 sx/so
Extremely carefree, enjoys to be on the move and to engage in new adventures. Wing 8 because he seems to be more interested to in be control of himself and he's a doer. sx/so because he's social but seems to predominantly project the energy of sx.

Trish 4w3 sp/sx
Seems to be searching for connection. The entire basis of her character is envy and how she can be her own person without simply being the clone demon of Dante's mother. w3 because she's much more of an achiever than truth seeker. sp/sx because she seems to want to connect but her own needs always come first.

Lady 1w2 sp/so
Undecided on wing, but I think 2 is more likely than 9. Moralistic, pragmatic, perfectionist but still with the kind-hearted attitude and care for others from 2 despite her greed. So over sx because I see her as more social and wanting to belong than sexual more than perhaps how she's become more objectified over the course of the series.

Vergil 6w5 so/sx
More unsure about this one. I am fairly certain about the 6w5 though. Cold and cunning but his biggest fear seems to just be a strong fear of the unknown in general. Charming and social like the so/sx.

Nero 6w7 sx/sp
I think he's a good example of a core 6, and w7 more so because he has the spontaneity of 7 and need for action. sx/sp because his entire character is about essentially saving Kyrie but he's not so so the only other is sp.

Typed him as 7w8 sx/so as well. I think he in fact embodies the type and instinctual stacking in general in his characterization with perhaps the exception of his portrayal in DMC2.

If I were to label Dante's MBTI he's probably an ENTP coming off more as an ESTP. So much troll in that one.
