Things that annoy you about ENFPs

I stole this idea from the ISTJ forum and am applying it to our Type.

As title suggests, it's for people who are not ENFPs to tell us what annoys us about ENFPs they know, and also for ENFPs to talk about what we dislike about people of our own Type.

To quote the thread on the ISTJ forum, "This is not a hate thread... just a little vent thread to perhaps lead to better understanding." So, please try to be truthful and forthright but not downright mean!

The silly switch. Oh, my god.

It can be annoying when dealing with something serious and then the other person just starts laughing. On the flip side, my mom use to get so annoyed when she was explaining her feelings and I'd sit there with a smirk trying to hold back my laughter as I was sometimes off in my own little world. I think that's probably the most grating quirk.

My extreme inability to bite my tongue. It's getting better... but like when I had my review at work today my manager started talking about her communication training she received this last week I was wondering what the heck it had to do with my work. She didn't say anything bad about my communication skills, and it was so hard not to say 'Why are you asking me these questions and telling me this information if it doesn't relate to my performance at work...?' I know it would have been rude, but I get so irritated when people talk as if I'm stupid about information that isn't even pertinent to my situation... yikes!

I can get annoyed by our sloppiness. I go to the ISTJ forum where everything is neat and orderly and I can find threads and topics that I want to read about, easily. ISTJs tend to be careful with spelling and manners and grammar on their forum. Then I come here and we (myself, included!!!!) are all over the place; sometimes what I read and write here makes no sense; the grammar and spelling is erratic. I can revel in our sloppiness, too, but it can annoy me.

Wow, and that is so true! Here it seems like there are 500 threads that are basically the same thing. I wish there was a better rule about not having threads of the same topic; consolidation wouldn't be so awful for once.

Then again, they are kinda needed. With the ENFP mind, you know that by page 5 it is unlikely that we are all still on topic. New threads help us get back to the original thoughts of the OP. But I get what you mean!

EXACTLY! On one hand, I love many of the tangents in our threads because they can lead to such interesting new discussions and much hilarity but on the other hand, I sometimes find myself growing frustrated when I'm trying to find answers to specific questions. As so often is the case in life, what delights me is also what annoys me... : )

The "I don't know" problems. That point when something is bothering you and you have no idea what it is, so you throw ideas at it until something reacts to the upset feeling. I'm sure I'm annoying when I just sit and whine because I don't know what the problem is.

I have a moderate case of dyslexia, so sometimes things get crossed in my mind.

I don't like how ENFPs talk about having endless friends and aquintances and can't keep up with everyone. Ugh! I've had a few friends (probably not ENFPs), that never get back to me, or have trouble juggling everyone, never make time for some friends, and it drives me crazy. If I'm friends with someone, they have to be a priority.

Most of the things that annoy me would probably be my flaws, I don't know if they are neccessarily ENFP related, or just a Stephanie/Chickydoda thing.
