If I had a nickel for everytime someone told me "You're weird!"...

My response nowadays is to respond with a lecture on the origin of the word 'weird', explaining how it originally meant 'fate'. People had such a hard time understanding why events occur in such an uncontrollable manner, they used the word for 'fate' so much that it's real meaning is forgotten. So, I finish the lecture by telling the person that they are essentially telling me I am fate incarnate when they say that, and I thank them for the compliment. Rarely do those people have any response, they usually just stand there and try to comprehend what they have actually said to me, and why I just gave them such a response.

I would like to add one positive result of hearing these accusations from people. If they didn't vocalize these thoughts, their judgmental nature would be hidden, and thus one might make the mistake of trusting them too much. It's much like when people display bigotry; I'm glad that they do, it makes it easier and quicker to determine with whom I can reliably communicate my innermost thoughts.

ENFP's are usually all 3 and its beautiful. Nothing is more attractive than a passionate and faceted individual that is so pleasantly offbeat, that they become endearingly addictive.

At my school, people either love me or hate me. My boyfriend thinks I'm such a weirdo but he appreciates my eccentricity. I have to say, I'm sometimes hurt when people tell me I'm loony. It feels good to be hyper at times, and let loose, but not when you're alienated. And next thing I know I'm withdrawn, and then bursting with energy to make up for not "being comfortably myself." That's why I love fellow ENFPs and not fellow 3s :P

This is true for some people. The main action/reaction people have had towards my weirdness is to start imitating me.
