    Star Trek!!!!

    Any ENFP trekkies here?

    What's your favorite series??

    Why?

Mine is Next Generation. Reminds me of childhood, watching with my Dad before he had an accident where he lost most of his memory...including most of anything we ever did together.

Don't worry about deep or personal responses. "T'pol/troi/Crusher/eetc... was hawt!!" is also acceptable:D

Huge fucking trekkie here. I was born in 91 so i never got into the original. My favorite by far was TNG. First season was kinda shitty but after that got way better. Picard os the coolest man on this planet and i would marry him.(coming from an extremely heterosexual male.) That fucking voice. He could brainwash people with it. I liked worf a lot too. Geordi was ehh and troi and the crusher family should not be alive :P I might start watching the newest one (enterprise) if i read enough good reviews.

TNG reigns supreme. My ENFP just started getting into it.

OMG OMG OMG, yes yes, yes, HELL yes!!! This is really weird timing. This past few weeks, I have been working on cultivating my kids' Trekkiness.

I was raised on the original series. I would watch reruns with my dad, just the two of us. Later, I watched avidly with my hubby/best friend. I saw the motion pictures as each debuted, except for the first one. Hubby and I watched each of the newer series together as they aired new. We were very poised to hate TNG, but Gene managed to pull off the interpersonal story building again, like in the original, so we ended up huge fans.

I am still a die hard fan of the original. Much of TNG rocked too. Beyond that, I lost my enthusiasm though.

What did you all think of the prequel movie? I was ready to hate it, but, after awhile, sort of forgot and went with it.

I am a huge Spok fan, and a Data fan, too. I sort of wish they had done more plots with Troi. Also... why did they drop Wesley Crusher and the Traveler plot? That had tremendous potential, from a scientific standpoint. Sigh.

Better go and cue up an episode. (:

Haha! You guys rock! Good to see Trek is alive:D Just got my INTJ wife into it and she's hooked hehe...

yeah...pretty amazing series. Cross generational, transcends race/religion/personality type/etc...

I recently watched all of Enterprise, and I really dug it:) Was mad that it was cancelled.

@ Zster I liked that it "rejuvenated the genre", but I didn't like Neru as a villian. Why go back in time and destroy Vulcan with his (for whatever reason) completely pimped out "mining vessel" full of a "mining crew" capable of understanding how to use the red matter to create a singularity at the center of a planet?? I dunno...Was far fetched. If I were nero and were thrown back in time, it would be more better to prevent the disaster in the first place. The blind rtarded revenge thing made him a really 1 dimensional character. Also. Captain Kirk is a kid and suddenly in charge of the new flagship?? Haha its better when I don't think of these things...but there they are :P
@ There is no spoon I also find myself creepily attracted to Picard. Sometimes I worry my wife...

I've always been the biggest fan of TNG.. And much like the OP, it also reminds me of my childhood as that is one of the things I grew up on.. .. I also love the Character development throughout the series.. The actual characters make it quite a diverse and entertaining series to follow..

Coming into TNG when it first aired, I was prepared to dislike ANY non-Kirk captain of the Enterprise. However, Picard won me over pretty easily. I always have been a suker for bright intellect and savvy diplomacy though. Maybe it was more of a stretch that I like James T. Kirk in the first place. (:

You know, I was not even thinking of the main plot line (gee, and ENFP distracted by character development? Go figure!). I simply enjoyed how much the actors seemed to have studied the mannerisms of the original crew, and emulated them well enough to get me over those not being the original actors. I honestly have no love for anyone who would abuse the power of time travel to enact vengeance rather than prevent disaster. On that, we can agree.

Fun topic, by the way. Thanks!
