    ENFP - The Inspirers

1 - Do you find that you have extremely short attention spans? I have trouble reading more than a few chapters of a book, and sometimes I have to turn off a movie half way through, but if I'm doing something I enjoy, I can usually do it for ten hours straight without eating, sleeping, or thinking about anything else. You just have to find something that is interesting to you. Sometimes I feel like I have a short attention span, because I come on these boards, open up a few interesting topics, then find after two pages, I'm exhausted of reading, even if I feel like it would benefit me to keep going.

Also, I find it hard to do the same things everyday. My room often gets really messy, but I'll usually tidy it once a week... I find it easier than picking up after myself for five minutes a day, which is kind of weird. I don't like doing the same things everyday, even if I enjoy them. Its kind of a problem, because I'm trying to lose weight, but after I've been on sparkpeople for three days in a row, I don't feel like going back.

Its ok to have a short attention span, because other personality types compliment our own, and can work with us to accomplish the tasks we find hard or boring. You should always work to improve your weaknesses though.

2 - After how long of being around other people do you find that you need alone time?
It really depends on different things, I couldn't give you a number, because its always different.

3 - Do you find that around (other) strong extravert types you tend to become quiet and reserved?
Yep, then they think I'm an introvert, or they are to busy soaking up the lime light to notice me. I get really annoyed when I'm in a group of people and I never get a chance to speak. I usually prefer to be around two or three people at a time, because a conversation is more ''equal''.

4 - If a conversation has dried up and become quiet and awkward, do you find you know exactly what you need to do to inject some life into it or do you just stand there wondering what to say? I kind of talk awkwardly into the silence, then I will usually say something funny without meaning too, because I feel a bit anxious and off my guard, and everyone will laugh, and things get going again. I don't like being the centre of attention, unless I put myself there. Mostly, I don't like being around ''reserved'' people, because I feel like its too much work, and I like people that can carry a conversation.
