I feel like we can really encourage each other in this thread. Essay, your gift, you will find, will be in sharing yourself with others. Not everyone will know everything about you, and they should not, but the ones who do know you, will be surprised at your depth and love. I wonder how many ways you do share yourself already that you might not even be aware.

Then one day, the brick cracked from my steady ascent to the sunlit world. I was thriving, becoming the flower/woman I'm meant to be and no one was more surpised than me!

Oppression can only hold us down for so long. You will fight to be free of it and you will be free! Hope is the first little tendril creeping out from the darkness, so nurture it with whatever sunlight and rain is available.
This is not hokey in the least. I have quantified my path, but I still see the beauty in your metaphor. I have one of my own. I must see these things in me or I will regress.

Iceman, I didn't even know the meaning of those words when I was younger. I was true to just about everyone but me, so you are a step ahead. I was an ENFJ when I was younger, but have since grown into a full fledged ENFP. Becoming true to myself has changed me but I think I'm who I was designed to be. :')

Spooky, I sent two little kisses of light your way last night around midnight.

I've always entertained the idea of living forever. To some that would be a bad thing. But I've weighed the problems against the benefits, and I feel that it would be a great thing to no longer be mortal.

Not sure I'd kiss everybody in this world, but I'd doubletap Ms.Sunshinenfp for sure.

Haha, well, honestly if I could have a wish I'd want to get this really hardcore INFP I really like to give me a shot. Asked once, failed, years ago. We've both dated others since and hopefully I get a shot now that we're finally both single again. She's about as idealistic as they come, so I'm not sure I'm up to her standards but if she gave one shot I'd charm her with everything I can muster up and I'm 100% sure it'd work. One date, and I'm homefree.

Grrr...INFPs...they'll be the end of me.

I wish I would stop making excuses for peoples bad behaviour -- tell them off and not feel a damn bit bad about it afterwords. Just once...

I really enjoy everyone on this thread. It always feels good to say our wishes out loud! Maurader, have you ever written down what life could be like if you were to live forever? I could be fun to imagine. I think of this as a conversation so I hope it's ok to respond to a few of you in this post.

Amanda, it's actually a good quality to have, that you don't point out someone else's failings. On the other hand, I had the hardest time letting others experience the consequences of their bad behavior. I don't work so hard to prevent that anymore because it delayed growth. When you do calmly tell someone how you feel about what they said or did, leave the results and have peace. Being assertive always feels good.

Moby, your posts are so much fun to read! You're all male and then some and women will like that about you! And yeah, a million bits of light wouldn't be enough to kiss everybody, but I'd land on lots and lots of noses and top lips, just right of center. I hope the door opens for you with Miss INFP. It's so cool that the ones we're hopelessly drawn to generally are the ones who will be the death of us!

Besides kissing everybody, I wish I could finish a book I keep starting. I want to write something meanigful or really funny before I leave this earth.

Jack Rabid, I've had the same wish at times and it's very hard waiting! A friend gave me a good visual once about waiting. He said we tend to think of waiting as inactive, but really, if you think of a waiter or waitress, they attend to the needs of the table, (or in other words, 'wait' on everyone) until the meal is done. I try to attend to what I can while i 'wait' for something to change. I hope your wish comes true.

I really like your avatar. So much ambience and uncertainty and layers of light and colors!
