    ENFP-ENFP compatibility

Well, as I'm sure some of you know often the ENFP is said to get along well with fellow ENFPs. I on the other hand have met three of my male-counterparts and so far cannot stand them... does this make any sense?
I am yet to meet another female ENFP like myself, so I cannot judge as to whether or not we would agree on any level. But it seems to me that my nearest and dearest friends are all INTJs or INTPs, I speak to very few of any other type.

It seems like that type of relationship, friend or romantic, might either succeed highly or crash and burn. The two being so alike would be familiar, but at the same time, could have the potential to be too familiar - it all depends on the situation. I can't speak as an ENFP, unfortunately, but I know that, encountering a few other INTJs in my life, it's been nice to have someone who understands. In the end, however, I likely wouldn't want to be romantically involved with them. I like variety, at the expense of sounding shallow.

Hm, yes in meeting the first male ENFP I was very excited but within a week we were in so many arguments that my INTJ friend found it best to not leave us alone or allow us to discuss such topics as religion or sexism.
I found him far too dramatic and emotional, perhaps because I can be that way and need some one different so that they may even me out? I'm not sure really.

I would think mature ENFPs would have the best chance of getting along. While they could still grow from other 'types' and experiences, having been smoothed out by past experiences, they may not need to rely on each other to grow in areas they lack.

Quite possible, I think you are probably right. =)
I do know that he leaned on me for support far too much in a time when I was looking for my own stability in life, it made him very, very unattractive to me as a friend or a significant other.

i only know one person who i think, very strongly, that he is an enfp! he is basically me, in a a different, male body. and we are awesome friends! he is just awesome!!! lol we cus about the same things too! we laugh about the same things, and when we both see something, i dont even have to ask he "are you thinking what i am thinking?" or "did you see that??!" we just look at each other and just laugh. he is fun i love him like a brother.

i dunno why i wouldnt like enfps!!!! that would mean i hate my own personality huh? in terms of relationships tho, i dont think i would want an enfp, maybe it would get sort of boring or exhausting. i certainly rather the Introverts. everyone needs some balance. ENFP + ENFP = Sugar high imo lol like i would burn out eventually

I believe it would be hard for two ENFP's to have a long-term relationship. It is said that opposites attract, and to some extent I believe that is true. We admire the strengths of others, especially where we have weaknesses.

Honestly, I don't think I could like an ENFP male. I long for someone laid-back, quiet, and steady. Not dynamite like me. ;)

I agree very much. It would also explain why I tend to spend more time with INTPs and INTJs than other personality types.

i hang around everyone really. i love everytype (mind you, some introverts scare me, because i dunno what they think.. they kinda of make me worry wtf they are.. truth or lies etc) for friendship. but relationship i agree, laid back, less light headed and more stable is the way to go

Well, I hang around several types but the majority are INTP or INTJs, there's an ENTJ an ESTP..
