Just starting up an ENFP intro post to facilitate new members, as you may not know I would trust many of you with my virtual life, so expanding that to new people would be awesome! The idea of this is to show that there is a community here; if that’s something you’re interested in, also having a start point will help that community grow! *huzzah!*

So if you’ve been waiting to spray your rainbows like a gosh dang firehose now is the time to do so!

BUT hive mind be damned, I'm an ENFP and my Fi tells me I'm an individual! Don't worry sir/madame, we have some things prepared so you can set yourself apart like the shining :star: you are!

We want to know about you! Consider these basic questions, don’t feel like you have to answer them, but they just happen to be there in case you get stuck :) *an Italian accent is encouraged but not mandatory*

1) Where are you from/where do you live?
2) How old are you? (Ballpark is more than fine)
3) What sort of work are you doing?

Some Extras
4) What do you look to gain out of being here?
5) How did you find out about your type? (It's ok if you're still unsure)
6) What are you favourite things in THE world!?
7) How long have you been putting off paying those bills??
8) This question has been left open, let that Ne go free range bby!

As the ultimate incentive, answering the questions (or just saying hello) will result in this being your honorary theme for the day ;)

The power is YOURS *Captain planet face*

In short, this is a starting point for those of you that are new to the land of the forest critters, we'd like to meet you (maybe with song)!

If you have questions about any of the above feel free to message me and ask ^_^

@The Four Toed Creed I don't believe we have met, but my memory fails me occesionally. In any case, Hi XD Speaking of Captain America, I am going to Civil War tonight! I am excited. Also, probably going to throw popcorn and make a mess off my seat *Italian accent* so be aware of the force.

1) Where are you from/where do you live?

I am from The Netherlands and live there with my SJ parents. They are perfect examples of how unhealthy SJ's would look like. I also have an ESFP brother and an INTP little brother. I have a medium size dog (even though he thinks he is big) and his name is Pip. He is a Tibetan Terrier, even though we actually thought we bought a Teckle, likes to eat mud/be mischievous and occasionally cuddle, even though that is a classified secret. Me and @Adena typed him ENFJ. Yes I type my dog, I have no shame.
2) How old are you? (Ballpark is more than fine) I am 19, almost 20 years old ;O
3) What sort of work are you doing?
I am on an art school studying Graphic Design with specialization in Illustration. Hopefully won't work for the next decade. Gotta hoard those degrees. Actually, I don't have a fcking clue what I am doing and I need to buy time. Also, I am a nerd that likes to learn as many skills possible in the main time.

Some Extras
4) What do you look to gain out of being here? Idk, I just got here.
5) How did you find out about your type? (It's ok if you're still unsure) I always kind of knew, but Socionics gave me that push in my back after almost a year. It confirmed ENFP for me. I just saw myself as anything, I liked the ESTP mask. It was nice.
6) What are you favorite things in THE world!? Puppies, pencils, crayons and paper! Besides that science, volcanos (when they aren't active, imagine going on a vacation and standing on the edge and it just activates.) Books, writing. Water. Things that smell nice and clothes. I love a lot of things.
7) How long have you been putting off paying those bills??

I haven't. I swear.
8) This question has been left open, let that Ne go free range bby! Popsicles and pasta.

Fun fact: People always assume I am French when they see me and start talking to me in French or try to sell me stuff and I am just like: chill, I am from here! It's even worse on vacation.

Hahahaha!! good call! yeah country is all up in that stank, never ever! No problemo :) I do try! Although my 9 gets paranoid that it'll shut down and i'll just randomly lose it, but so fair so good it seems! Just to counter the self loathing as I should, I seem to have an ability to find connections with people and people and things very quickly ^_^

1) Where are you from/where do you live?
Austria, Salzburg/Vienna

2) How old are you? (Ballpark is more than fine)
16 (one of the youngest *sigh*)

3) What sort of work are you doing?
I am a high school student currently visiting an international school

4) What do you look to gain out of being here?

Maybe people I can relate to? :)

5) How did you find out about your type? (It's ok if you're still unsure)

Uh well still a bit unsure. Every test has tested me to be an ENFP (since Ne and FI are my strongest Functions) but I could see myself in being an ENTP as well .. actually I could picture myself as a lot of types and people here have typed me from ENFP over ENT to INFP or even INFJ xD And I'm just here like : Huh? xD

6) What are you favourite things in THE world!?

Music *-*
LIONS *0* TIGERS *0*
The ocean!!
Surfing <3
Generally happy people
Colours.. (they are so sacred! think about it!)
emotions..
and uh rainy days O...O

7) How long have you been putting off paying those bills??
Not long since I am to young to have such kind of responsibility xD *innocent glance*
8) This question has been left open, let that Ne go free range bby!

"You’re under no obligation to be the same person you were five minutes ago.” take that every possible villain in every possible sic-fi movie xD

Ello Ello! @Antonia_Stephanie

You just took those questions out for a nice seafood dinner, I tell you what!

Austria, the european evil twin of Australia! *shakes fist*, people (not very smart people...americans), always confuse us with Austria, don't worry about age too; we all tend to act like 12 yearolds, you'll be the one making sure we go to bed on time xD ..."but i'm not tirrrrrredddd" (we'll say), "go to bed! or no more cartoons before school" (you'll say),!! (we'll say)

and is that international as in.. international -man (or woman- come on guys it's 2016) of mystery- school?? don't tell me if it's not, just let me have this!! (do you mind if I ask where actually though?)

Haha, we're working on it! just have 'under construction' as your signature :p Hahaha, that's the Ne dom spirit, seeing yourself in everythang xD Seriously we will raise you as our own regardless :) and double seriously I could link you a post on here where I flipped out and was like 'guys I might be INFJ!?!?' and all the peeps were like looooooool, would have been not even 2 weeks ago xD

I confused myself real bad at question 6, like I thought you were saying 'I like music'!... and then listing bands, 'generally happy people'™ would be the best band name.. as would 'uh rainy days'™..wait are you saying you like rainy days or dislike rainy days??? :bored:

Oh to be at bill-less age again, sereiously trying to adult SUCKS! I want ice cream!!

Take that -everything-! that quote is amazing, it's too early in the morning for brain blasts!

You gon' did gewd kid! and WELCOME (probably should have opened with that)

(Seriously just take the whole thing, you earned it!)

Ello back my Australian friend :) @The Four Toed Creed

Oh yes, trust me A LOT of people confuse us with Australia. We even have shirts saying: Nope. No Kangaroos in Austria.
Or prints of kangaroos with a cross though it. (which is actually kind of mean towards Kangaroos if I think about it xD) Both is sold in tourist shops everywhere possible xD

But I seriously love Australia! it is one of that "never been, but always loved" countries ya know? A few of my Well-being and PE teachers are from Australia (Yup International schools xD) and I just love how positive they are! And how detailed they look at ones mind. Not to forget the big plus: SURFING *-* (absolutely love it) Ive been a few times (Portugal) but never ever in Australia.
Studying in Australia is actually one big dream of mine. To be more specific : At the University of Queensland *--* At the minute I am interested in Communication and Journalism (but ya know that changes every time I blink so... yeah xD)

I am really glad you are so extremely willing to help and I can absolutely picture you freaking out about being an INFJ XD

Haha no those are not band names those are things I absolutely adore. But then again if all the things I like are potential band names I must have done something right xD

And yes I like rainy days (love em!) I especially like swimming on a rainy day :) I know I know weird. Its just I really love water (yeah congratulations Austrian girl who lives in the freaking middle of Europe with absolutely NO shore xD) and when swimming on a rainy day there is water coming from above and from beneath you who is heaven xD *-*

Oh and thanks for the clapping Shia.. I feel honoured xD

~Antonia

@Antonia_Stephanie Ugh, so annoying, we should just start a new hybrid called Austra(a) and the flag can just be a crossed out kangaroo and what could we cross out for austria? an ostrich?

Oh I do know, do I ever! My version of that is every english speaking country ever! Yeah we got plenty of surfing here, well I think we got all of it actually, I'd give it a go but I have the balance of a drunk paraplegic amputee (manatee?).. that works too :kitteh: Hahaha, love the dictionary for that- 'a sea cow'.. THAT can be the national animal for Austra(a)! No one will confuse that for anything, who wouldn't remember the country of manatees!

Totally, plenty of people study here from lands afar, but honestly (and this could be bias) but I wouldn't recommened UQ, they tend to be real snarky and such, like they would be our uni that is just so big it's bad, like i went to do psych there but opted out because they had so many students that if you didn't get into the main lecture theatre, you had to sit in another one watching the video feed of the first one! So not to crush your hopes and dreams or nothin, but we have plenty of great universities! But then that could also change in the blink of an eye, haha.

Yeah I lost it for a bit there, i'll find it later, I reckon it'll make you feel better about it all, so so silly it was.

Oh good! me too! I love the rain, i'd sing in it if I weren't busy staring up at it like a turkey  I dunno it's just.. the rain makes me feel things haha jeez. YES omg how good is swimming in it, *like a manatee!* the water gets all warm :3

I thought you guys had the canals?? although I suppose even if you did you probs wouldn't swim in that thing xD Just run a bath and thrash, that;s what I do.

Haha and honoured you should, that qoute blew me out of the water :p

WOO HOO I GOT TAGGED IN THE ENFP POST!!!! :D (i feelz so specialz right now ^_^)

Seriously how did you guys even find me I'm only in here like two or three times a month and have a post count of like 200 or 300 because I hardly ever post I just stalk a lot. XD But it was an awesome feeling getting that mention in my notifications.

I read through like half the posts but I need to get back to what I'm doing and I'll come back and catch up later. I really want to answer these questions though because you know... can never talk about myself too much.

1)Where are you from/where do you live?
I live in Cairns, Australia (which is really close to @Sarah Arminell which I find awesome :D) I actually come from Townsville, but we moved when I was six weeks and since then I have lived in three different states and lots of different places XD If you want an in-depth report I can give you one but I imagine it would bore all the non-Australians (and maybe the Australians too :p) My favourite place was in country Victoria and I hope to return there once I've finished university. :D

2)How old are you? (Ballpark is more than fine)
Lol I'm 15 and as far as I know the youngest ENFP on the forum. (My birthday is at the end of August if there is another fifteen year old wanting to debate this with me) Most people mistake me for about seventeen or eighteen when I first start talking to people on here so I guess I carry myself better than I imagine I do?? I don't know how because we're not exactly stereotyped as mature. XD However, contrary to the stereotype, I think we can all be quite mature when we want to be, we just choose not to because it's not as much fun. :p

3) What sort of work are you doing?
I'm in Year 11 and hope to go to uni soon, so I'm mainly studying. I do work at a fast food joint up here though and enjoy it immensely. :D It's mainly because the people I work with are great and it's not in a flashy area of town so everyone is genuine and upfront with you, but I have had my share of annoying customers too. -_-

4) What do you look to gain out of being here?
It's a brilliant distraction from homework. That, and I'm obsessed with MBTI and have been since I was 13 and first joined here. I love interacting with the people on here, especially the other ENFPs. Older ENFPs are amazing role-models and seeing you're all older than me I have been able to gather some great advice, especially from the people like @Doc Dangerstein who are a lot older and more active than me. It's a great learning experience to be on here and the community is FANTASTIC. :D

5) How did you find out about your type? (It's ok if you're still unsure)
I have an ISTJ bestie who finds the theory interesting and she originally typed me as an ENFP because we were having a D&M about the deep philosophical things in life and I just couldn't figure out why I was so weird so she set me up with the theory. You know what they say... the rest is history. I've talked about it so much with her that she's told me to shut up numerous times and I bore my friends to death with it sometimes so I'm learning to keep my mouth shut when MBTI/personality theories in general enter my thoughts. I could talk about it all day though it's absolutely fascinating (you can probably tell by the length of this paragraph)

6) What are you favourite things in THE world!?
But I love everything!!!!!! ^_^

If I had to choose I'd probably say PIXAAAAAAAAR (I have so much Pixar stuff it's crazy and all this random Pixar knowledge that nobody cares about but me) but I also love Star Wars (what ENFP doesn't? :p) classical and indie music, especially stuff with clarinets in it, mathematics, biology, baking and sketching.

Abstractly speaking, I love that feeling when you're around a bunch of people you've known ever since you can remember, or even just one person who you are super comfortable around, and you're just having one of those days where you chill out and eat icecream for breakfast and play video games all day in your pyjamas, and then you go on a walk in the late afternoon to some place you've never been before and get hopelessly lost until you find a place that looks familiar and finally make it back home just before the sun sets, and then you stay up all night watching Pixar movies and having conversations like "You know how sheep are stupid? What if sheep were anthropomorphic do you think they would ever say anything smart or would they just walk around going 'feed me graaaaaaaaaaaass. baaaaa?"

You know. Just one of those days where it's absolutely perfect and you get to share it with your favourite people in the world.

7) How long have you been putting off paying those bills??

LOL I don't have to pay bills yet. I am meant to do the accounting for my dad's business though and I absolutely hate it so yeah... I have been procrastinating a little bit on that. He's an ESTJ and likes everything to be super organised and accounted for so it's kind of a sore spot at the moment you shouldn't talk about. :-/

8) This question has been left open, let that Ne go free range bby!

If you stuck heaps and heaps and heaps and heaps of butterflies to the back of a blue whale, do you think you could make it fly?

(My answer to this is, of course! Anything is possible! but I want to see it happen so bad)

My squad at school is currently having a massive debate over whether or not you could solve world peace if we all became potato farmers, so I might share this thought with you too. (I think I originally got it off someone else on here but I can't remember who)

Sorry for making this so long it's late at night and the brain is running wild! XD

And a big welcome to all the new ENFPs who post in here! I love talking to other people so if you want to make friends feel free to drop me a PM. (I may take a while to reply though just ask @Icy Heart about that   )

@The Four Toed Creed

Yes Austra(a) !! So are we.. Austraniens? xD I love the sea cow idea xD Although I have never ever seen one.. They do look cute though (I gained that knowledge out of tons of animal and Biogeographic Documentaries) Another thing I love! Animal and Biogeographic Documentaries *--* I could watch them all day long !!

And yeah I thought so too but I am actually don't really suck (this statement isn't back backed up with any source of evidence).
I just love surfing... (have mentioned that a couple of times now didn't I? ... Good xD)

And oh good that I've got a new perspective to look at. Are there Unis you would recommend? I am currently doing the IB (International Baccalaureate) which leaves me the opportunity to study anywhere in the world :3 (isn't as shiny and glittery as it sounds.. ITS HELL xD)

Well good than we are rain buddy's from now on :DD I think rain has something releasing to it and also pures you and the environment in some kind of way. Aww now I want to go swimming (it is raining right now xD)

We do have Canals but they sure aren't a place to swim in (TRUST ME)

sincerely,
Your austrainian rain buddy :)

The Fi answer is because you're special!

I ran a search query among members and shared the results with @The Four Toed Creed . For example, these 3 are new and can participate: @SapphireRose1990 @James1980 @DaniAA94 . And @SonOfPandora just joined today. In the future, I can share this with TFTC, or he/anyone can learn to do it themselves. But this is how I did it. You were mentioned because you had at least one post in the past 2 months.

..This but Liam neeson voice the whole way through* Be careful too! if you tell them too much they'll realise they're in the matrix! So for anyone reading, this wouldn't have happened without our ENTP drunk parrot friend, without him in my ear I personally wouldn't have stepped out of my 9 of a cube bouncing around the DVD sleep screen into actually doing something concrete! So everyone should thank our parrot friend before his Fe claims it by rite.

Ok so time to head beyond that *gorgon*... so! boogity! boogity! boogity! lets go racin boys! *even though you're all girls shhhh.. oh no wait, one guy, so ha!* (oh wow goosebumps.. I dunno how to feel about that)

@RubberDuckDudette, so now you know why you were one of the chosen! *you will now be transported to the island where nothing will go wrong* OH I should say as well I saw the distance of your post and... xD

What! australia! as in cairns australia?? australia?? cairns!?? bloody ell, almost as much of us in Oz as there is in texas! I love the Ne in your response :p I've got fam bam in victoria, so I'd like to end up there (as soon as next year would be nice!.. but unlike).. although I would have to be closer to the city, I'm not really one for the country.. at least not yet. In fact I'm heading up to Maleny today and I dun wanna, haha.

Yep yep, youngest so far, at least on this thread! BUT august b'day buddy! best month of the year! all the others are just a footnote  Eventhough I am some ways older, I totally getcha on maturity, in fact I was just saying to a manatee, that I tend to be way older than people my age. They'll be partying upstairs and I'm the one with the broom like it's 9pm I'm trying to sleep you tiddleypops!

Kudos to you for studying, even after being at uni for yonks I'm still never 'mainly studying' in fact it would seem I'm mainly here xD What are you thinking of studying?? and I'd wager you'd be gunnin for a uni in victoria! Worth it I'd say if you can pull of the marks and move :)

Haha YES, what a testimonial! we should slap that on the front page, it's great here and it's awesome to see someone at your age getting so into this stuff, you'll be better for it I'm sure! ..Damn I would have edited that into the front page if I could, oh well! you will carry on the spirit of us all!

Dude! again! you should sell MBTI xD Not knowing anything else I'd say psych at uni would be a good call for ya!

Question number 6 I swear I could almost take as each paragraph corresponding to the ENFP stack, haha, you must be our prototype new model! Haha yussssssssss pixar is the best--arr (actually that sounds more pirate o.o), do you have disney infinity 3.0?? I would so grab it but they won't let me pay with donald duck impressions and goofy laughs... and I could also do without the a billion statues you gotta have  I've got enough star wars shiet as it is! Seriously *10* I have 3 moneyboxes that for the last 15 years have been promising me I will one day be a jedi :p :jedi-lightsaber:

Hahaha, what about switching zombies to bread? 'graiiiiins' (not my joke! I bloody wish)

Oh wow, you get the ENFP to do accounting, smoirt! xD At least you're learning what you don't like early on though and at least our parents are great for teaching us those things (even though it's not always fun.. like pixar!). I'm not saying that you're wrong or anything, but seeing it again, it makes me laugh how often people type their parents as xSTJs haha, like of course the offspring is more likely to say that! (but yeah not saying you're not bang on, just an observation).

That is such a pixar meets Ne response on number 8 and I LOVE it! It made me think of millions of the catapillar from a bugs life trying to lift a blue whale and there's a connection into finding nemo/dory and a bugs life! wut wuuuuuut! I reckon you could if you had enough all over it, I'd just be worried about their wings and all that water, haha.

What a friendly offer! that's the golden ticket right here! and while I always enjoy the random discussion, will just mention I'm one of those that doesn't believe world peace being possible (ideal! but impossible), the base of my answer stems from mental illness (surprise surprise). Thank you thank you for that pixar of a journey I needed this before reading it all! :kitteh:

@Antonia_Stephanie ello ello again! Sorry it took so long getting over here, manatees are not that quick in terms of transport it turns out, especially when they keep ramming themselves into glass walls and wasting themselves GTA stylez :3 It took me a whole herd to get over here, they'll be fine though! Hahaha yes we are too, that's poirfect.. I've never seen one yet either, only on tv, what a manaTEASE! Oh man I know, love that stuff! David attenborough for life! (who managed to make watching grass grow the best!), although the going got tough when watching one of the last ones I caught, I was 'taking a break' from study and at one point a graphic on the show comes up that says "Black bears can be a variety of colours" Nup! I was so done with life! ...and here we are.

On UQ, yeah I have a thing against universities that are so big they lose their soul and the experience sucks, and UQ has been in trouble a lot recently (falsifying psychological data in studies etc), just in short they don't seem to care very much about the students, just the results, money and rep. However as I don't know your style, you could be a student that fits fine with that (if you're one that works very hard.. I am not) and the universities that you've been to at Euro could be such a standard that UQ would be a similar level or even easy.

I can only speak to the universities I've been to in all fairness, Griffith uni I did my undergrad, I would highly recommend although they are getting quite big and I havn;t been there in almost 2 years. University of the sunshine coast was OK, they are very small trying to be big, but as they seem to miss a lot they are my least fav out of where I went. University of southern queensland is probably my fav so far, it may be a bias doing masters (you tend to get a better experience I think), but they are very practical in their mindset and oh so friendly, I actually feel looked after and that I will gain actual skills as opposed to vomiting textbooks. Just anywhere you reckon feel free to ask and I'll let you know if I think it has a bad rep for anything or just what I know. Our universities in victoria are very popular at the moment and that region would represent euro the most in terms of here, but it depends what you like! Yeah you're right that sounds so fancy french man and kewl but I can imagine that being pretty damn annoying, I'd like to study abroad but I'll have at the least one more year to go after this (although not at a uni most likely, unless I get into specialist masters, which would mean another 3 years! D:). My plans are to remain here for the next 5-10 years and then see what happens, I've always wanted to go abroad, haha.

Yep yep yep! Hahaha, totally does, it's just like yes we humans have been very dirty, clean us... cleanse us... filthy dirty smelly humans! *sorry I started thinking of monty python xD* It just makes me feel happy... so it seems that Austra(a) is the land of the pluviophiles!

Totally thought so, it would be like lotr 'dead faces in the water'.. probably best to save that swim for a rainy day :kitteh:

Till next time! *manatee away!*

@for fire I don't see you often but you still manage to make me laugh more than most here! xD So we have a sea-hawk among us! :p *I swear water is a huge theme of this thread now*

Yeah I've had a similar experience with Ni vs Ne, if you ask me there seems to be a decent amount of overlap that is easy to confuse! I don't play much in the way of fighting games meself (I suck at them), I can pull of a mean tekken fighting stance though! Do you play many other types of games?

Haha... Boobs.

How many is that now?? @paperlily hello once again ^)^ haven't seen you around for some time!

I hear that a lot with people in england growing up, like even though to me the distances to another place would be nothing, it's still very common to stay in the same place it seems. Which I would totally like to do! Just not in a small village-town :(

Haha, yeah probably, 15 would be a mature ENFP I think! what are you studying at uni if you don't mind me asking?? ^_^

Totally agree, I use my pens to tick if you must know :3 *..and people tell me i'm a smart ass all the time*, do you ever feel for the ESFPs having all their threads being about relationships re other types? (seriously and we thought we had it bad!).

Quite the contraire mon frère! not boring at all, it's cool to see someone just get there in pretty well a straight line, personally I just like information intake, especially when someone breaks the mould a bit!

Keeps happening too, I love the little things that people pull out that they love and every time I'm like 'balloons is the best answer!', haha hell yeah pattern lamps! I usually just settle for making a dog shape with my right hand and making a high-pitched 'rarwww' *it's more baby velociraptor than dog*, some things though; you just automatically like, so they don't come to mind as fast :)

I pretty much am the slug! seriously you're answer there I'm like '...yep that's me'.. the only way the ghost would be good is if I had a stereo and people could enter the room AND that I could change colour and strobe for people while they dance! And also with the slug I could redo lord of the rings and be like... I choose a mortal life.. ;) idk just any opportunity to say that really...

How long did that take, an hour?? kewl... ^)^

1) Where are you from/where do you live?
I'm from a small, boring little village in England, I've lived here my whooollleeee life and I cannot wait to leave!
2) How old are you? (Ballpark is more than fine)
I've just turned 20, but in ENFP years that's, what...15?
3) What sort of work are you doing?
Well I'm looking for a new job (again) and I'm going to uni next year anyway!

Some Extras
4) What do you look to gain out of being here?
I just find it very interesting knowing how other people tick, and knowing that there are people who are so similar to me. I go to the forum for each type and just read what they're all talking about and seeing our similarities and differences. It gives me even more to think about than I already pluck out of thin air :)
5) How did you find out about your type? (It's ok if you're still unsure)
Kind of boring, but just knowing about the functions (I learnt about them accidentally, I never actually sat down and intentionally learnt what they were) and then observing myself and figuring out which functions I use. Also just reading about the types and observing other ENFPs and comparing them to other types and stuff like that.
6) What are you favourite things in THE world!?
Everything? I read this question and these were the things that popped into my head immediately, though: toffee, camp fires, anti depressants, balloons, driving at night, and patterned lampshades that make shapes on your wall because the light shines through the patterns. I think dogs are great too but that didn't come into my head immediately, I already knew that.
7) How long have you been putting off paying those bills??
I'll do it later!!!
8) This question has been left open, let that Ne go free range bby!
Would you rather be reincarnated as an immortal slug but you'd still have a human conscience or whatever it is, or would you rather die and spend eternity as a ghost trapped in a white room with no windows or doors and no way of escaping because you're not a ghost who can walk through walls?

I'd rather be a slug, because then I can still explore (very slowly) and have friends and everything, but I'd be disgusting and people might step on me and it'd hurt me - I'd obviously be an intelligent slug though so I might be able to avoid being injured (remember I'm invincible) for longer than the others, but then I might be lonely because they'd all die. I'd be the last remaining slug though which sounds quite prestigious. Being a ghost trapped in a boring room with no way of escaping is torture, what's the point in being a ghost if you can't walk through walls?

... my reality is different from your reality, @RubberDuckDudette . I have the luxury of having parents who love me, but at the same time they were overprotective and sheltered me and continued to shelter me throughout. I never had anyone I could go to talk about things that matter and even today I only have the few friends I trust, books and the internet. I was an anxious person most of my life and I was told to put others first unconditionally: Simply put, I made grave mistakes in almost every aspect of life because I had false information, false believes, was to scared/anxious and too conceited to ask anyone.

I may give the best or the worst advice conceivable, but at least it will be honest. All I ask from you, or anyone for that matter, is that you use your own feelings and intuition and decide what right for you, that you think for yourself. Thank you for you trust in me. The only thing I can offer are stories of my own experience, insights and analysis, my own reflections on things, on life.

... PS, about you being the youngest, I did say I had the maturity of a 12 year old and had students younger than yourself tell me I need to grow up. As far as flying whales, make it happen Pixar lady. Ever heard of Blender? I messed around with it on my old laptop before I destroyed it with tea. It’s pretty awesome and open source ... runs great under Linux, don't have a Mac and haven't ran Windoze in ages. Now I'm running a 12 year old IBM Thinkpad popsie had lying around the house. He knows my habit of frying computers [tea, hacking, I wonder if it's a good idea to overclock this chipset ... sometimes yes, sometimes no.]

https://www.blender.org/

... @The Four Toed Creed. Ok Beavis & Butthead challenge: watch the video in it's entirety without snickering, I lasted 30 seconds. But yeah ... I went through a pyro phase back in high school and in chemistry class my lab partner and I started playing with the bunsen burners and started impersonating B&B. My one friend sat behind me and after class begged me to never major in science because he wanted to live. "Dude, you're smart and stupid enough to build something worse than an atomic bomb. Please study something in the humanities." Dem ISTPs tell it like it is. At least I think he's ISTP, haven't seen him since school.

Bahaha I did too! Back before AdroElectro, I was AdroPyro.

@Doc Dangerstein Haha, you've brought attention to snickering so no way I could go more than half a second now! I did use it in a post yesterday and had it there still playing for maybe five minutes through my earphones, at which point I couldn't handle it anymore even in the background xD Only thing I can remember getting into trouble during science classes was attempting to put on like 12 pairs of safety glasses, more often it was for talking in class, gods we were shits. We signed the back of a book at the end of year 12 for the science teacher we had most, all I wrote for my bit was 'I'm sorry', haha.

@Arzazar Szubrasznikarazar I apologise for my late response (and tiredness reflected in post), yesterday was.. an experience..

Alas I'm glad to see you join in! and finally someone with a bit of age to counter balance all these young sprites :p This might sound like a stupid question especially as I'm 99% sure you put up one of your plans, but you do those through computer programs yeah? (as opposed to by hand).. I'd assume very few do it by hand, haha.

YES good food! now and always! that's the ticket! and I quite like military history too, not to say my knowledge is any good, but I like that sort of stuff.. on a complete and utter sidenote, can call of duty stop pushing into the future.. like seriously.. but yeah I love history in general (thank you age of empires).

Totally same re phone, in fact often I don't even attempt to recharge it and save the money, i dunno people never call me anyways, I'm lucky to get a text from petstock say that they have 30% off fish accessories

Anyways! Thank yee for the intro :)

Why hello
1) Where are you from/where do you live?
I come from the far away land of Poland (I don't blame you if you don't know it. Most people don't. Someone even asked me if we had polar bears in Poland. And before you ask, NO WE DON'T HAVE POLAR BEARS, POLAND IS IN MIDDLE EUROPE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!)
2) How old are you? (Ballpark is more than fine)
I'm (almost) 16.
3) What sort of work are you doing?
Well, i'm about to enter high school. Wish me luck.

Some Extras
4) What do you look to gain out of being here?

@xGYARA Haha, gosh I know! everyone knows Poland is the land of Poles and that you guys sleep in nests atop of street lights and every decision is made by way of public poll! xD (I kid, luckily I know about Poland..kinda).

Another youngling! Have I just been communicating with teenagers this whole time??! It's like runescape all over again xD But again of course I have, this is the ENFP forum after all! Good luck btw, high school will make you more powerful than you could ever imagine

Finding out about stuff and things through video games is never a bad thing and I'm sure you'll find people that get you, just giev em a minute!

What vid games do you like?? do you have a PS4, from the game mentioned I'm guessing PS4?? Either way I'm glad if anyone gives you stick; you'll have a sword to defend yourself! Welcome welcome and thank you for sharing! *SNEEZE*

Honestly, I'm more of a Nintendo gamer (I care for the games more than console parameters, and you know, Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, etc. are always going to appear, while Sony "mascots" tend to appear and disappear. For example Crash who used to be big in the PS1 era, but now faded into obscurity, or Sly Cooper, who despite getting a movie doesn't appear in games anymore)

And though I might be very young I think I'm pretty intelligent for my age. I mean, I know few people my age from Poland who try to write books in english. Actually, I don't know even a single person. Just me. *hello darkness my old friend*

Thanks for the warm welcome, though. Really appreciate it :)

1) I am from Russia
2) mid 20s
3) Mechanic
4) Learn more about different functions, get better at typing people, debate troll and help people
5) I looked at personality types years ago but I never really got it. Then I got back into the types decided to really understand the functions. It was really obvious once I learned the functions.
6) Guiding people, helping people solve problems, kinda like a mentor but a hardass tough no bs mentor
7) About 8 months. I have 0% interest for another few months tho.
8) I need a muse to guide my Ne. I’m not good at coming up with stuff from scratch but I am very good at enhancing other people’s ideas or works. Like a producer.

#72 ·
All good aims and desired outcomes, interesting on your last answer, I was thinking about that today, as in at least for me; I won't use my Ne if anyone else asks me to, it has to come from me or i'll pretty much tell you to get stuffed. Like as an example, anyone who's ever asked me to tell them a story has been met with a look of

Regardless I think your answer is a good way of looking at it!

1) Where are you from/where do you live?
Indian Living in Indonesia.

2) How old are you? (Ballpark is more than fine)
17.

3) What sort of work are you doing?
Studying in order to go to uni in order to get a respectable job (boooring)

4) What do you look to gain out of being here?
Friendships with people who understand me, not just accept me.

5) How did you find out about your type? (It's ok if you're still unsure)
Got mistyped as INFP first, mostly because I was in an extended introverted phase at that time, but eventually looked at cognitive functions and figured out I'm an ENFP!

6) What are you favourite things in THE world!?
Hmm that's a hard one... The ubiquity of nothingness in the midst of our world so full of things I guess. And also emotions. Emotions can suck when they hurt but they put the life in life. Oh and maybe chocolate too? I love chocolate. Chocolate is laif

7) How long have you been putting off paying those bills??
17 years now, and probably for 5 more due to uni.

8) This question has been left open, let that Ne go free range bby!
What is the meaning of life, this universe, and everything? Hint: it's not 42. It's ∞. Both are ∞ and the meaning are reifications. Meh oh well 22 Jump Street was frikking hilarious though! Watching Terminator Genisys at 3am the night before my AP Calculus exam wasn't as hilarious though...

Ooooooooooo Indonesia isn't too far away! (from me at least, for others it probably is), another youngling trying for uni! This thread is just an application for day care now... :p HOWEVER don't worry you'll be accepted here or so help me yeezuz there will be words! Chocolate is the bestest among the restest! For me, if I were in willy wonka, I wouldn't make it past that chocolate river, there's no way! Emotions are a good new mention too! for without them cafebot and skynet would have their way and by god if anyone's gonna stop that it's us ENFPs *cries*.

First half of your Ne free range is too much for my brain this early in the morning but yeah I do love me some 22 jump street! You know the end credits are canon and will serve as the third one! xD (at least that's what I heard last).

Anyways! welcome friend! if you need anythang just ask :)

Ohai! Long time member, rarely check in anymore. *waves*
How are you nice people doing?

1) Where are you from/where do you live?

Sweden! But I'm half American and I also spent a year going to college in Santa Monica, California.

2) How old are you? (Ballpark is more than fine)

Just turned 30.

3) What sort of work are you doing?

I was working as a photographer and with marketing, now I'm back in college studying to get a BA in psychology and working part time.

4) What do you look to gain out of being here?

To make a connection I suppose... And to gain a greater understanding about the different types. To exchange knowledge and anecdotes, to give and receive support and advice. I often used to come here for advice about my ISTP ex-boyfriend, but I won't be needing that anymore.

5) How did you find out about your type? (It's ok if you're still unsure)

I got a tip about the Kiersey test from my psych 11 professor my first semester of college, and found this place shortly after.

6) What are your favourite things in THE world!?

Love, sex, cuddles, friends, potato chips, chocolate, books, melancholic songs, nature, rain, mist, mystery and all things that fill me with wonder, dogs, cats and lately beautiful architecture and interior design.

7) How long have you been putting off paying those bills??

I always pay them immediately because I overcompensate for my disorganized mind.

8) What is the meaning of life?

Life's so fucking short, just do what makes you happy as often as you possibly can. And share it with people who make you laugh.

1) I am from Jacksonville, Florida, USA. I've lived here my whole life :) it's a big city with small parts
2) I am 19
3) I am in-between jobs; I'm figuring out where I want to go in life at the moment
4) I look to gain insight into questions I may have that takes into account my personality and how people like me normally do
5) I found out about my type because a boyfriend of mine asked me about it; soon after I took the test on 16 personalities and my results fit me almost perfectly
6) My favorite things in the world are books, hiking trails, and coconut macaroons x) I have a monster sweet-tooth!
7) Trick question; I have no bills to pay ;) I'm a college student between semesters and I live at home
8) I have so many ambitions but above all I want to find my purpose! I want something I can wake up every day and look forward to and make a difference in people's lives. It's a bit ironic and contradictory, but I'm a bit shy for an extrovert xD I tend to stay quiet until I've assessed the situation and am comfortable with it, then I let loose with all my ADD, ENFP madness x) I've actually taken the test multiple times, along with the Kiersey Personality Sorter; I tend to lean toward ENFP, but my Kiersey score had me tied between extrovert and introvert. With the descriptions, ENFP is the closest match (though there is some merit to the INFP!) so that's what I'm sticking with :)

@MoriKitsune
Hi! Well damn you're literally a world away from me! What kinda jobs are you doing?? Sounds interesting tbh. And what major are you doing?? And ENFPs are here so you can ask us (me! hahaha) about our personality and behaviour in terms of that! And books are amazing! Have you read The Magicians by Lev Grossman? One of my favourites!!! And yaaaaas I love eating chocolateee especially cooking chocolate (for some weird reason)! Samee I want to find my purpose in life, and so far all I've figured out is that I want to BE the difference in the lives of those I love. And being slightly introverted is no biggie as long as you still have that spark of ENFP madness in you I guess ;) maybe an enneagram test could help you figure out your personality better?
Anyways hi again and hope we become good friends! Enjoy :D

@Crystall Hello and hi! *waves*

Woahhhhhh, long time member! Uhh I'm sorry my brains pooped post class, so this one may be short and sweet :) Uber glad to see another psych student in the ENFP ranks and it will be neat to see you around! Oh no wait I got one, soon you'll have psych mind reading powers and people will be like 'wowie wow! is your last name ball!?' :3
@MoriKitsune hail to the newcomer! would you happen to be a jaguar?? ;) good time to figure out the direction you want to head, I wish you luck *irish luck* on that endevaour! I look forward to those questions as well!

Also just a question as you've mentioned the results fit you to a tee, would you then know if you're a seven when it comes in enneagram (it doesn;t matter if you don't!).. just colouring myself curious is all :)

Man you guys love the best food, a banquet should be hard with art making and other such things previously mentioned, haha.

Also you youngins and these no bills, to be in your shoes again! xD

Awesome answer to number 8 and again I wish you all the luck, the world deserves that sort of thing; as do you as well ^_^
@abhimohit99 Haha, I is in Australia mate :) so close enough I say xD Canada would be swell I reckon! Defs a place on my radar for the future once i'm done! I had to refresh on y response as well, I type things to you guys and then come back later and I'm like 'wait crap, what did I say??' xD To an honourable death it is then! Haha it better be for sure! and don't worry you'll just attach to whatever we've attached ourselves to, no idea who started it!

I see! Yeah not so far away after all :p And well if you consider winters reaching -30 Celsius swell then I guess I agree xD Lolll yeah I need a recap too when replying after a few hours. And I'm not sure I understand what you mean by your last sentence about attachment. My brain just blanked out on that sentence again and I'm rereading it for the 5th time xD Cheers and hope you have a good night!
