It also means to have sex with. ;)

You ENFPs terrify me because you are friendly and bubbly and try to make people comfortable.

I feel much more comfortable approaching someone who is frightening and cold and intimidating. These people I understand.

as an INTJ you might get on better with an Sp/Sx ENFP. we're a little more self centered, cool headed, low key and give people more space

I experience the same problem sometimes. I'd usually try my best to engage in a conversation with them and let them know that it's fine to talk to me but sometimesss, it's a bit tiring that they don't open up themselves and that's the reason why I prefer extroverts.
Strangely enough I'm less talkative and mainly be the listener in a group of extrovert friends though.

I think it just takes introverts some time to get used to. Keep talking to them and they'll eventually understand you!

frightened of extroverts? Well when I was more of a 'shy' introvert, the bubbly extrovert made me run away because that would mean I would have to talk to them and engage in conversation which I was not very good at.
I find it interesting that my mom talks to people also because she thinks that it makes other people comfortable, but if you really think about it, that's all about perspective. Does the other person really like talking or filling up the silence? maybe they're comfortable with the opposite you're doing. Just depends on other people's preferences.
Now I'm not afraid of talking to them, but bubblyness throws me off only a bit because I have an issue of showing my soft side (happy side) to others...I put on the persona of ISTJ.
