I think it's hard. Both want to be natural leaders and both want not to be controlled. This could be a problem as I experience it with another ENFP right now..

Edit: after posting this I had to think about this song. I think its applicable for this post :)

( I dont like the arrogance in this song, but well you know if you want to do it it could be :) )

You suck just a little bit. But I remember saying the same thing.

And no. ENFPs do not read each other's minds when they are in relationships together.

In my experience, we communicate so much we don't need to read each other's minds. It's still exciting and you are still two very different people. Only difference is, you probably naturally find each other. There is a tendency to be attracted to similar things which can bring you two together. And if that happens, values tend to be incredibly similar.

Well now that I think about it, there is plenty to think about when you have two very self aware ENFPs. The fact that ENFPs need their personal independence, so ENFP-ENFP relationship can truly understand and respect the privacy that we both need. And on the same line the fact we have no desire to control or be controlled makes a relationship with one incredibly desirable. I can remember a lot of them that did not end well because they perceived my lack of control or my privacy as showing signs of lack of interest, but I was just being me. That and what goes behind closed doors is so overwhelming and intense.

YES! Two of my very close friends are fellow ENFPs and we'd always talk about how we could practically read eachothers minds. People never understood the 3 of us together, we could literally converse with nothing more than eye contact. I'd say its the shared intuition, along with being the same type that contributes. Plus we ENFPs are simply awesome. That must be a contributing factor

I don't like that ENFPs apparently have large capabilities of reading people, like many in this are suggesting.

Because that would mean that the ENFP that I fancy not only knows I want to date her, but also knows I want to have sex with her....
    Crap...

Oh yeah. She knows... But that doesn't mean she'll be the one to approach.

It's not the approaching I'm worried about.

But the potential "ZOMFG WHAT A FREAK!"

Idk I think I can read very good - all NF types. I think I am on same page with all NF types, like my sister is INFJ and it is easy to read she, same with friends who are INFP/ENFP:s Understanding ESTJ:s and others thatkind types is easy too, just think "they do opposite than u" xD

I would love to have an relationship with another ENFP, that would be wild and crazy relationship, we just would do crazy little adventures in our living room every day lol D
I met few weeks ago another ENFP in chat and I can say- it was total nonstop chatting, we spoke about 2 hours and the conwo was crazyy.

Read minds? NO! I can not. But...

When I talk to someone (this can be anyone) I anticipate their thoughts and feelings based on context, action, body language and tonality of voice. I do not do this actively, it is something passive.

In general I pick up on even small things and can sense when something is amiss or wrong. I will not exactly know what that is. Thus I will ask

Yes I can be lied to. But I may notice that the other person is telling a lie, I just won't know why unless I can read it out of the context.

I can even pick up on how another person feels in chat texting.

Yeah... that's exactly how my last relationship went. In a month's time we could anticipate each other better than i could anticipate my best friend for 10 years. We had catchphrases and knew exactly what the other person was feeling, though it took us a while to figure it out. Plus, she really liked a lot of stuff similar to me. I had the most fun with her that I've ever had in my life with anybody and even after a couple years of growing apart, we can still snap right back into place at a moment's notice. In fact I must say, it's really really nice to read this thread and find out that I didn't miss out on something that I will never find again. It gives me great hope!
