From my experience, ENFP are really intelligent and it fills my heart if i do not need to explain something, they just ''understand'' it. They also have an awesome sense for humor, thats really amazing.

Why are they so enthusiast about music?

Because music is awesome! It's one of the few things that can really grab your heart and shift your emotions around every which way, and it's colorful, and it's beautiful, and you can really feel the heart in it. It's just fantastic.

...whoops that didn't really answer the question did it. I think it's because we're so tuned in to emotions, and because we love sharing things with others. Music is great for conveying emotion, and it's easily shared. c: It's also basically the coolest thing ever, and sometimes things are so cool that their coolness can't be explained.

Because we love them! If I'm friends with someone, it's because they're a fantastic person and I love everything about them, and if they don't understand how cool they are, I want them to understand. So I tell them all the time, and I flip out with excitement over all the cool things they do.

For me, it's because sometimes I'm faking my mood. Once I'm out of the situation where I need to fake it, I'll immediately flip back to whatever I'm actually feeling, so it looks like I'm having mood swings.

Sometimes it's because I put so much of myself out there that I end up wearing myself out, and when I suddenly realize how tired I am, I go from "WHOOO LIFE IS AWESOME" to "ugh, get me home so I can veg out on the couch and watch Disney movies, please." Sometimes it's because I'm in a BLUHHHH mood, and then I think of something really cool, and my mood elevates because I'm so excited. It's all situational.

Why do they tend to elevate the abilities of their friends so much? I don't. But I don't think I'm that compatible with most of my friends. We bring out different sides in each other.

Why are they so unique? ENFPs only make up a small percentage of the population, its mostly SJs and SPs. Probably why some ENFPs struggle so much, because we feel out of place.

For me, it can be like freedom from thoughts or a way to help me make sense of my head. Other times, just like Halcy0n put it, it;s exactly like flying. Very.. freeing, very wonderful.

For me, music is my life. It's a form of self-expression that seems to be much more intimate than anything else. When I play my instrument, I'm expressing my feelings at that moment, and once the sound has left the air, that emotion is gone. It's a very unique and temporary form of self-expression that--to me--is much more dynamic than any other art form.

It's what we do! We're proud of our friends, and we like to show them off--sorta! It (again, for me) also tends to validate ourselves because we can sort of see ourselves in our friends.

For me, I think a lot. Leaving me alone with my thoughts can be a very good or very bad thing. It just depends on what the "flavor of the month" train of thought is.

I think it's because we tend to reflect others so much; we just kind of pick up a little bit from this person and a little bit from that person. It's as if we're a collage of other people's experiences at particular stages of their lives, thrown together with a personal flair on it.

Why are they so enthusiast about music?

Not sure if every ENFP has this, but when I listen to music or playing my guitar I am thinking and I am feeling. It's just me. I am music. Despite not being the greatest guitarist in the world. A life without music is a life without love. I can express myself in music and I can get shivers when I can hear someone else is really expressing him/her self.

Well, we are one of the less common types and (speaking for myself) I tend to be a natural leader. I do very well in groups. So I guess that makes us stand out even a bit more? Not sure about this though.
