This is a discussion on What is your family makeup? within the ENFP Forum - The Inspirers forums, part of the NF's Temperament Forum- The Dreamers category; I'm wondering if anyone else knows what their family members are... as in the family you live with right now ...

    What is your family makeup?

I'm wondering if anyone else knows what their family members are... as in the family you live with right now i.e. nuclear family if you still live with your parents or your spouse and children etc...

Mine is as follows: (and I am not sure how it relates such as why each child is what they are or how that actually plays out together)

    Husband: ESTJ
Me: ENFP (very low on the E)
15 year old son: ESTP (very low on the T)
    13 year old daughter: INFP
11 year old daughter: ENP (sure she is an ENTP though)
9 year old daughter: ETJ (sure she is an ENTJ though)

So what is yours and if you know, how does it all work out for you all?

Edited to add: after I typed this I realized that I seem to have more "influence" over my children than my husband does but keep in mind, I am basically their sole caretaker... He works, I do kids end of story

I no longer live with my family, but this was the makeup:

    My mother: ESFJ
    My father: ISTP
    Me: ENFP
    Younger sister #1: ESFJ
Younger sister #2: ISFP (I think)

My sisters get along with my mom just fine. I, on the other hand, was counting down the days until I could move out since I was about ten years old.

My SO is somewhere between an INFJ-TJ...he doesn't have the interest
to really figure it out. I think i may have actually lucked in. He has just
enough F to support my emotional needs, and just enough T to keep
    me intellectually interested.

    Father: INFJ
    Mother : ENFP
    Sister 1 : ENFP
    Sister 2 : INFP
    Brother 1 : INTJ
    Brother 2 : ENFP
    Brother 3 : ENTJ
    Brother 4 : INTP

    Myself : ENFP

As you can see i don't have family members typing " S "...this is the
reason i have a hard time understanding this type. Everyone in my
family is an " N "....half and half with introvert vs extroverts.

We had lots of fun growing up, regardless if we always understood
    each other or not.:)

    It wasn't until i found this forum i begged..i mean literally..haha..for everyone
to be tested. I though i was the only ENFP, as my Mom and siblings are strong
thinkers...i suppose now that i reflect back, i see the ENFP ....i may have
adopted the thinker in myself also. All the ENFP in my family don't have a strong
Fe...or maybe maturity has alleviated that somehow.

Currently, I live with one roommate: a male ENFP (type 7).

I am living with my ENTP SO in several months to begin our own "family".

    But I grew up with:
    • ENFJ mother
    • ENTJ father
    • INTJ older brother
    • INFP younger brother

My brothers and father are guesses, and my roommate, boyfriend, and mother are confirmed. Yes, I surround myself with lots and lots of N.

I also no longer live with my family; but for what it's worth:

    Mother = ENTJ
    Father = INTx
    Sister = ISTJ

Then there's me; rocking in as an ENFP. My flatmate, who is a very close friend of mine is an ENFJ.

    Mother: INFP
    Father: ESTJ
    Me: ENFP
    Brother 1: ISTJ
    Brother 2: INFJ

We pretty much cover the spectrum, but we all get along very well. I will say that when we fight, everyone leaves scratching their heads, haha. My poor baby brother, stuck in the middle of an E/ISTJ and E/INFP family. I think that having 3/5 of our family within the NF category makes us a very happy family indeed! And all my crazy ENFP shenanigans helped mellow my ISTJ little brother. Not to mention my INFP mother who never had a plan for dinner, despite my brother's constant demands for one. XD It's been a fun dynamic, for sure.

    I'm blessed, I love my family. :D :D :D
