You're more feminine than I am! (in relationships)

    God you're annoying.

Why do you stand so close to me while talking?

You'll snap out of your ways.

You won't be so out there when you have a kid.

You know you're not gonna find a girl that wants what you want, they all want to just have fun at your age, not settle down.

When are you going to grow up and take stuff serious.

    You don't think things through.

    You're too emotional.

    You scare me.

    Are you on something?
In my life, I've heard every one of these, many of them from so-called "loved ones". That is, except for the "too feminine" part...in my case, I'm way too masculine according to some people.

I relate to all of the posts pretty much...but mostly tend to get:
    You did what?
    How did you do that?
    You have to be kidding?
And my all time favorite from my daughter when I commented that I must have lost my sense of direction when I was driving and took a wrong turn:
"Gees mum...you really can't lose what you don't have!" (So true!)

Hahaha one of the best for me was "God I can't stand talking to her! It's like talking to you except I care even less about what she's ranting about!"

And how about the customary look and roll of the eyes, etc when we do a 180 degree turnaround on something when we completely change our mind...oh and then change it back again!

Hahaha. My daughter is a teenage ENFP and she just told me about a funny interaction with a boy at school today. She said she was talking and he said, "Wow. You are just one big explosion of LOUD."

Not to mention, she has a crush on this boy. So maybe there is a sign when we like someone?

pinkrasputin- I too have a teenage daughter that's ENFP and thing I find amazing is that I can see so many of my characteristics in her...esp the not so great ones. I do understand her though which is really helpful.

"I've never fallen in love this fast"
"But you're smart! How do you not do better in school?"
    "Late AGAIN?!?!?!?"
"It's three in the morning! Go to SLEEP!"
"You have a really nice smile"
    "You're cute when you're mad"
"I feel like I've known you forever!"
"How do you ever get anything done?"

I've had these said soooo many times to me, and it's really crazy how people fall for us so fast, and then they're surprised by it after they do.

I am smart, and that's why I'm too smart for homework. Or it doesn't hold my attention. Either one works.

Yes, I am late again. But hey, I don't see you trying to make everyone around you smile. Some of those old people are grumpy. Maybe if the world was happier, I wouldn't be late so often.

No, it's four in the morning. And no. I will not sleep. I'm too hyper.

Thanks, you do, too. That's why I like to make you smile so much. :)

If you think I'm cute now, then I'm about to get down-right adorable.

Er... You have. We've been in school together for nine years... o.O"

Easily. I get loads of things done; you just don't think what I get done is productive.
